The Sirena Ranger and Biological Station is the headquarters and largest of the four stations in the Corcovado National Park, providing support for academic research, park improvement and conservation activities. Located in the heart of the park within the Corcovado Basin, its remoteness provides the greatest abundance of wildlife of all types, making it the best destination to maximize viewing opportunities.
We take a boat for an approximately one-hour to a beach near the Sirena Station. There is a wet landing, and once on the beach, you will have the opportunity to change into more appropriate footwear. The overnight tour includes hiking along park trails and stream beds, with your guide pointing out all of the dazzling wildlife and allowing plenty of time for photographs, The standard hike for this tour is on fairly flat ground, however, at times, our guests have been treated to trails which are not normally open to the public. These are a bit more physically challenging, but the guide will always assess the group before undertaking more challenging trails
