Let's head to Slovakia for some winter fun! We will meet up in Bratislava where you can explore on your own before a welcome dinner. The next day we take the train to the low Tatras Mountains, and start our adventure with three days on the slopes in Jasna, Slovakia's largest ski resort. Then we'll move to the regional capital of Poprad and take a tour of a UNESCO World Heritage city Levoca and see the famous Spis Castle. The next day we'll take the local Tatras Electric Train to the High Tatras Mountains and Strbske Plesco for some snow tubing and exploring. After breakfast the last day, you can stay in the area on your own, take a train to almost anywhere in central Europe, or take a bus up to Krakow.

This is a free day on your own in the capital of Slovakia on the Danube. Check into the hotel or drop your luggage early and explore the city. We'll meet up for dinner that night for a traditional Slovakian meal with local wine or beer.
We will travel 3.5 hours by train and then shuttle to the Jasna ski resort area. We will stay in a large 7-bedroom villa with a central kitchen and living room that's 100 meters from a lift and right off a ski trail at the end of the day. Happy hour after we settle in and we'll head to a dinner place that evening.
After sorting out rentals and lift passes, we'll get to know the slopes of the largest ski resort in Slovakia with some uncrowded mid-week skiing.
There are a lot of areas to explore here, so time to check out a different mountain.
How much power have you got left? Ski your favorite slopes one last time and knock off early for a good pilsner if you're getting tired. Many hotels near where we're staying offer day passes to their spa if you need to rejuvenate...
Return your skis to the shop and let's celebrate three days on the slopes.
We will transfer from our villa set-up to a hotel in Poprad, drop off luggage, then drive to two UNESCO World Heritage sites in the region: the town of Levoca and the imposing Spis Castle ruins, which you've probably seen in a movie or two. We'll have lunch in Levoca (included) and return to our hotel in Poprad at the end.
The towns of the High Tatras Mountains are connected by an electric train system. We'll ride from Poprad to the scenic lake town of Štrbské Pleso. There is a ski area there, but it's quite short and tame, so we'll get on the snow and play another way: snow tubing and snow rafting! We'll have lunch there along the way and return to Propad that night for our final evening together.
We will have breakfast together in Poprad, then it's up to you where to go next. Trains connect easily to Kosice and Bratislava in Slovakia, or on to Prague, Budapest, Vienna, and beyond. Or you can get to Krakow on a bus.
