Summary

Students Love Travel has been asked to provide travel insurance options for the Hampton Academy trip to Washington DC in May 2024. The coverage is through Travel Insured International, and it is the same coverage Students Love Travel provides for all student groups. There are two options, including the following coverages:

1. Student Travel Protection Plan

 • Trip Cancellation (due to sickness, family, or medical emergency)

 • Trip Interruption

 • Trip Delay / Missed Connection

 • Baggage & Personal Effects (lost or stolen)

 • Baggage Delay

 • Medical Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains

 • Accident & Sickness Medical Expense

 • Evacuation for Political/Security Events or Natural Disaster

2. Student Travel Protection Plan + CFAR  

 • All the coverage listed above

 • Cancel For Any Reason coverage (CFAR)

The optional CFAR plan covers 75% of any non-refundable deposits paid to the tour organizer (assuming they aren't covered 100% for some listed coverage). The CFAR may only be selected if the insurance payment is made within 14 days of the initial deposit payment to the tour organizer. This benefit covers cancellations for any reason up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

NOTE: Hampton Academy recommends that all travelers select the coverage with CFAR.

Payment

The cost of the Student Travel Protection plan is $63. The cost for the coverage including the CFAR is $95. Payment is due upon registration. The WeTravel platform accommodates payment by ACH transfer (no fee) and by credit card (for a small fee.) Payment may also be made by check after registering; note the travelers name on the check and mail it as directed to:
