Hotel Pick-up & Route Briefing
Meet your private guide in Muscat and travel by 4x4 toward Wadi Bani Awf. During the journey, your guide will introduce the route, expected conditions and the day’s safety procedures.
Equipment & Safety Preparation
At the canyon entry point, receive your technical equipment and a final safety briefing. Your guide will check the group’s readiness before entering the route.
Canyon Descent
Move through the canyon using a combination of scrambling, swimming, controlled jumps, natural rock slides and guided rope descents. The exact route and techniques used depend on water levels, weather and the abilities of the group.
Energy Break
Pause in a suitable area of the canyon for fruit, energy snacks and hydration before continuing toward the exit.
Canyon Exit
Complete the route, change into dry clothing and take time to recover before lunch.
Late Omani Lunch
Enjoy a hearty local meal after the descent, with time to relax and reflect on the day’s experience.
Return to Muscat
Travel back to Muscat, with hotel arrival expected at approximately 7:30 PM, depending on road and group conditions.
Private 4x4 transfers from Muscat, qualified canyon guide, helmet, harness, ropes and route-specific technical equipment, energy snacks, fruit and drinking water, traditional Omani lunch.
Strong general fitness and confidence in deep water, comfort with heights, confined canyon spaces and rope-assisted descents, secure footwear suitable for wet, uneven rock, minimum age, health restrictions and route eligibility are confirmed before booking, the route may be changed or cancelled if weather, water levels or safety conditions are unsuitable.
