Join our professional, bilingual guide who will accompany you in the water, ensuring your safety while enhancing your adventure with expert insights. Your journey begins with a scenic walk along the Malecon to the boat at the government dock. You'll be fitted with a life jacket, snorkel, mask, fins and wetsuit. Boat features onboard washroom for guest comfort. We also provide refreshing beverages and light snacks to keep you energized.
Please note that crew gratuity is not included. To fully enjoy this experience, it is highly recommended guests have a knowledge of water safety skills and swimming abilities. The panga has all permits required by law. It comfortably accommodates 12 guests and comes complete with onboard washroom.
The whale sharks are the largest fish in the world. They are filter feeders eating plankton only. They are sharks that do not have teeth and are 100% harmless. They are referred to as the gentle giants of the sea.
There are several departures a day and are highly protected, regulated by CONANP the government agency responsible for protection of the whale shark.
Guests will be notified of the departure time a day before the activity.
