Amun, his wife Mut, and his son Khunso are the three significant deities to whom the temple is dedicated. The main highlight of the structure is the large open-air museum. The temple is also associated with worshipping other gods like Osiris, Isis, Ptah, and Montu.
After visiting this structure, you will return to the Nile Cruise for Lunch. In the evening, you will experience the night beauty of Luxor:
The Luxor Temple.
The best time to behold the Luxor Temple's beauty is at night. Amenhotep III, Ramses II, Tutankhamun, and other pharaohs built it over hundreds of years. In one hall, there is also a granite shrine of Alexander the Great.
Then you will be brought to the Nile cruise for an overnight stay.
While not part of your tour, the ship and local tour agencies may offer sunrise hot air ballon rides over the incredible sights.

The Majestic Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings has a tunnel to the afterlife concept and a beautiful staircase to heaven. It houses around 63 beautiful tombs of the great ancient pharaohs of Egypt. It houses splendid artifacts. It is the burial site for the Egyptian kings of the 18th,19th, and 20th dynasties. The tour guide will provide an unforgettable experience by furnishing all the necessary historical data.
The Hatsheput TempleThe Hatsheput Temple, as the name suggests, was built by Queen Hatshepsut herself during her rule in the 18th dynasty. It is a mortuary temple that she constructed for herself. She is one of the rare female pharaohs in Egyptian history. Her remarkable reign truly justifies this magnificent and exquisite structure.
The Colossi Of MemnonKing Amenhotep III built a big temple for himself. In front of the temple, there were two gigantic statues. The temple was destroyed, but what remains now are just the two giant statues called the Colossi of Memnon. It's one of the oldest art pieces. It is considered to be the protector of the Egyptian city from all dangers.
After visiting the above sites, you will return to the Nile cruise for a delicious Lunch. You can then spend the rest of your day and night enjoying and relaxing on the cruise.
Breakfast on ship.
Edfu Temple
This temple holds a unique position in Egypt's history. It dates back to the 2nd to 1st century B.C. The temple is associated with the worship of the sky god Horus. According to Osiris's popular myth, the temple was built where the devil god set and the hero legend Horus fought. Inside the temple, you can witness an awe-inspiring blend of Egyptian and Greek designs.
After this, you will be sailing to Kom Ombo, where you will see the fantastic Kom Ombo Temple.Kom Ombo temple is also known as the Hill of Gold. It was constructed between 205 and 180 BC, during the ruling period of Ptolemy V. It is a double temple, showing the influence of the Ptolemaic and Roman periods. Interestingly, both temples are dedicated to Sobek and Hathor, the crocodile gods.
After witnessing the sites mentioned above, you will sail overnight to Aswan.
An Insiders favorite, yet common event during the cruise, is watching the ship enter the Esna Lock, changing the ship's elevation on the Nile River in a seamless manner.
Breakfast on Ship
Today you will explore the Nubian City of Aswan.
The Aswan High Dam
The Aswan High Dam is one of the significant attractions in Aswan. It was constructed in the third quarter of the 20th century in collaboration with the popular Hydro Project Institute of Russia. The dam was intended to effectively control the Nile flooding. Furthermore, the high barrier helps generate hydroelectricity and preserves water for agriculture in its reservoir, Lake Nasser.
The Unfinished Obelisk
The Unfinished Obelisk is an exceptional monument. Construction began during Queen Hatshepsut's reign. The unique structure was constructed at the entry of the temple of Karnak. It is 42 meters high and weighs 1200 tons, clearly showing its construction's brilliance. The obelisk cracked while it was being built and remains in the same place today.
The Philae Temple
The Philae temple is dedicated to Isis, the goddess of Love and Beauty. Isis is also the deity of motherhood, birth, and healing. After the construction of the High Dam, the temple was dismantled and brought to the Agilkia islands under the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project. King Ptolemy II built it. Its architecture reflects the Egyptian New Kingdom and shows Greco-Roman influence. This is accessed by boat, the little sailing an experience in itself.
