Hotel changing rooms will be reserved at the Dockside Inn & Suites for Solon HS  to 

change into your beach/pool wear and soak up the Orlando, Florida sunshine – OR – accommodations will be made at the Volcano Bay Water Park for folks to change using the items from their pre-packed carry-on.

1:00  PM Admission to Volcano Bay Water Theme Park – 

Forget those water parks with the same old slides. Universal's Volcano Bay is like dropping into a tropical paradise designed for maximum thrill and zero chill. Imagine this: Instead of lugging tubes around, you've got this crazy wristband thing, TapuTapu, that lets you join virtual lines for the most epic water rides. You will have access to the chartered coaches’ luggage compartments parked on the hotel property. Time to freshen up & change clothes for dinner.

7:30 PM Arrive at Margaritaville or Bubba Gumps for a group dinner (included)

9:30 PM Walk back as a group to the hotel

10:00 PM Arrive at the hotel for the night

casual food court that serves breakfast at multiple stations offering a variety of breakfast options, including

a bakery, grill, and more – for those in a hurry, there are also Grab-n-Go options available.

Universal Studios STARS Performance Program is your backstage pass to an unforgettable experience where you'll be assisted by industry pros and shine like never before! Imagine this: You and your crew aren't just visiting a theme park – you're becoming part of the show! Whether your passion is playing an instrument, dance, singing, marching band, or even acting, STARS offers performance opportunities that'll blow your school talent show out of the water. Think about it: Marching alongside your bandmates through the iconic streets of Universal Studios, with the energy of the crowds fueling your every step as the Dance Team nails their routine to thunderous cheers. Whether it be stringed instruments or your voice as the instrument, STARS will not only showcase you but thousands of your peers will cheer you on! This isn't some touristy add-on. STARS is a hands-on program designed to push your boundaries, refine your techniques, and give you real-world performance experience. You'll work with seasoned technicians who know what it takes to succeed in the entertainment industry. Plus, you'll bond with your teammates in a whole new way, creating memories that will last way beyond the final curtain call. And yeah, you'll still get to experience all the awesome rides and attractions of Universal Studios! Imagine the bragging rights – "Yeah, we rode the Velocicoaster, and then we performed a killer routine right here on CityWalk!"

FRIDAY, MARCH 20 (cont.)

7:20 AM  Board motor coaches: Note that these times are just place holders and subject to change.

Certain buses will be designated as Stage Performance 

Other buses will be designated for the Marching Band. 

Note: All performers need to be in uniform when departing for the park

7:40 AM Depart for Universal Studios Orlando Resort and the City Walk Lagoon Stage

8:00 AM Arrive at Universal Orlando Resort – 

- Universal Event Operations will meet Solon HS; All 8 coaches will be directed to a drop off area near the City Walk Lagoon Stage.

- All Solon Personnel will disembark the 8 coaches

o Buses will be unloaded (all equipment for the STAGE PERFORMANCES – Orchestras, Dance, Show Choir, & Jazz Groups). Once coaches are unloaded, they will leave. They will return at 12:30pm at end of performances. 

o Buses will move to the marching band location. Marching band equipment will stay on the coaches. Marching band will get equipment off the coaches at 9:30am prior to performance.

- The Tour directors will have all of the Universal tickets – Universal staff will scan all of the tickets. After all performances have concluded, tickets will be passed out.

You're chugging butterbeer in Hogsmeade, grabbing wands at Ollivanders, and maybe even dodging a Dementor or two. This isn't just a theme park; it's literally walking into the wizarding world. But wait, there's more. You can come face-to-face with a massive T-Rex on Jurassic Park River Adventure (yeah, you WILL get splashed!), help save the world with Spider-Man on his insane 3D adventure, and feel the G-force launch of the Incredible Hulk Coaster. We're talking next-level thrills that'll blow your TikTok feed sky-high.Think you're brave? Test your limits on the intense drops and speeds of coasters like VelociCoaster (seriously, Google it – it's insane). Plus, you can join the hilarious chaos of the Minions on Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and dive into the action of Transformers: The Ride-3D. Forget boring souvenirs. You'll be decked out in House robes, rocking Marvel gear, and maybe even training your own dragon. And the food? Theme Park grub just got a major upgrade. 8:45 PM Please report to designated meeting area and walk to the motor coach parking area as a group. Please use the restrooms in the park or in City Walk before you walk to the parking area.

9:00 PM Report to the group motor coach parking lot and board coaches. 

9:15 PM Depart for the hotel

9:45 PM Return to your hotel rooms for the evening.

After performance, dance team needs to immediately return to City Walk Lagoon stage for 10:45am stage performance. Remaining students can change into park clothes at T-60 trailer, and load instruments onto 5 coaches. Once coaches are loaded, they will leave for the day (return at 9pm). Band will then rejoin group at City Walk Lagoon stage to watch Stage performances.

At conclusion of Jazz performances, all stage equipment will be loaded onto coaches 1-3. Students will finish changing into park clothes, and tickets will be passed out. Coaches will depart and return at 9pm. 

12:30 PM Visit Universal EPIC Adventures (hrs: 12:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.) Theme Park for the day:
(Your ticket allows you to go from Park to Park each day via the shuttle in director approved groups.)
