We named this retreat Soul Connection for a reason. It’s an invitation to come back to yourself. To the quiet, steady place within and to reconnect with others in a way that feels genuine, open, honest and real.

Our journey begins at Amaru, a clifftop sanctuary overlooking the vast Pacific and the region’s iconic waves. Surrounded by wild, raw beauty, this is a space to reconnect with yourself- the kind of place that reminds you how good it can feel to simply "be." Roundtrip airport transfers from Managua International Airport (MGA) are included, featuring a scenic 3.5-hour drive to our secluded sanctuary.

Each day invites you to drop out of your head and into your body with two daily yoga classes led by Char and Amber, along with a special full moon cacao ceremony. Nourish your body with three delicious, farm to table meals prepared daily using ingredients grown on site at the Amaru farm. Embrace the time to relax, restore, and renew in this tranquil setting.

To cultivate presence, we invite you to experience Amaru with all of your senses—immersing yourself in the elements and the rhythms of the natural world. In mythology, the Amaru is a double-headed serpent symbolizing balance, transformation, and creative power. It serves as a reminder to move with intention, attuned to both our inner landscape and the shifting energy around us.

To deepen your experience, we’ve included a group hike up Cosigüina Volcano- an opportunity to witness the raw, powerful beauty of Nicaragua.

In your free time, lounge in the serenity of our clifftop sanctuary, unwind by the sea, or explore the surrounding landscape. Whether you’re seeking restoration, meaningful connection, or a deeper relationship with your practice- both on and off the mat —this is a space for you.

For those wanting to commit to their surf progression, you can add on the full Amaru Program Surf Experience for an additional $100/ per night for the week. This includes professional instruction, in water coaching, and video analysis. Otherwise, feel free to rent a board or book a private one off lesson at your own pace.

Together, we will gather as a community, connecting back to ourselves, remembering who we are, and embracing the moment with curiosity and presence. All are welcome on this journey of mindful movement, meditation, creativity, and self-inquiry.

About Amaru

Our boutique retreat center is perched above the Pacific, designed to support presence and connection. With a focus on sustainability and "soulful" living, the property features natural textures and a layout that invites the outside in. We will have exclusive use of this sanctuary, allowing for a private, grounded experience. Please see below for rooming options and descriptions.

What is NOT Included

• Flights from the United States to Managua (MGA).

• Optional Excursions + massages, all available for booking up arrival at the resort.

• Required Travel Insurance

• Passport Validity: You are required to have a valid passport to enter Nicaragua. Please ensure your passport expiration date is at least six months beyond your arrival date.

• Vaccinations: While there are no mandatory vaccinations for this location, we recommend staying up to date on routine immunizations. For a full list of suggested travel vaccinations, please consult the CDC’s Nicaragua Travel Guide.

We know life happens! To keep our retreat sustainable and honor our partners in Nicaragua, we use the following policy:

• A $500 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is required to save your spot.

• The Deadline: Remaining balances are refundable if you cancel at least 120 days before the retreat. Just email sacredsoul.contact@gmail.com by 12:00 AM on that cutoff date.

• The "Point of No Return": Within 120 days of departure, all payments become non-refundable. This is why travel insurance is a must!

The "What If?" Section

If the world hits a major snag (e.g., government travel bans that legally prevent us from hosting the trip), we will refund all payments made.

The Fine Print

Please ensure your passport is up to date and you meet all entry requirements. We cannot offer refunds if you are unable to join us due to a lack of proper travel documents or a refusal to comply with local laws.
