Empowered.  A word I live by.

All of us have the ability to overcome things in our lives. Defining moments in our "story" give us a choice, the courage to either become our truth, or live in a lie.

Before yoga came into my life, I was a young mother, strapped to a corporate job, with  laundry list full of guilt, shame and baggage from a turbulent youth.  Fitness goals led me to yoga, and yes, I became physically strong, but slowly I began to notice changes occurring  in my actual nature.  The baggage from my past started to slowly get stripped away.  I began to realize who I was deep down, and deep inside beauty started to unfold where there was once only pain.  

My past does not define me, but I know the challenges I have been blessed with in this life are so I can empower others  with the knowledge that all we have to do is look inside for the answers.  

That is what yoga does for you.  It strips away what is not real, replaces it with Love, and gives you back what you truly are at your core, your spirit.  
And it's never too late to start.

Guests will travel by private boat to the island's own underwater museum.  Musa, was created in 2009 by artist Jason deCaires Taylor and founded by the former president of the Cancun Nautical Association.  

Strategically structures were placed in the waters between Isla Mujeres, Cancun, and Punta Nizuc, creating an unusual place for local sea life to call home.  The unique museum has over time grown and now  there are  over 500 permanent, life sized structures and monuments carefully set on the sea floor.  

As a group, we will snorkel above the structures, and have the opportunity to see thousands of brightly colored local fish and other sea life.   

After the guided tour, we will travel to two other local snorkeling locations for additional site seeing and interaction with the local sea life.  *We provide equipment for snorkeling, but bringing an underwater camera is suggested.

As a group we will travel to Punta Sur for a sunrise yoga session or meditation.  Punta Sur is known regionally as a Mayan healing location and has an undeniable energy as you look down off the cliffs.  Historically and even in recent time, people visit the site to pray for health and healing energy.   The views are stunning, and the breeze is a refreshing break from the heat....a perfect place for meditation.

Punta Sur, also recognized as the home to Mayan Goddess Ixchel, is the highest point in the state of Quintana Roo, and the most easterly point in Mexico.  

Here, you will be the first people in all of Mexico to see the sunrise over the Caribbean Sea, and will be able to walk the cobble stone paths along the sea before the masses of tourists show up for the day.

Playa Norte / North Beach has been consistently hitting all the big lists for best or most beautiful beach in Mexico and even the World.   The white sand and crystal blue waters are like a postcard or advertisement on TV.

As a group or broken into smaller groups, we will walk the beach, have the opportunity to swim and snorkel, order a fresh cocktail, join a beach volley ball game, or just simply enjoy the sun and the view from a towel.

Bring a few peso, as there will likely be opportunities to buy unique local crafts and snacks from passing vendors.

Hidalgo Street is the hub of Isla's downtown core.  Bustling and colorful, with the smells of local specialties flowing from the restaurants to the street, the sounds of music filling the air, and vendors on each side selling locally produced arts and crafts.

Guests will have the opportunity to take in a meal, enjoy the street performances, wander through the shops, and see a bit of the island's night life!

Bring your camera!  With a guide, guests will cruise the island via golf cart and have the opportunity to see landmarks, parks. local schools, the Caribbean shores, and more.  

Stops along our way will include the local beading co-op, the local brewing company and  Hacienda Mundaca.  Guest will have time to enjoy each stop if they choose at their own minimal cost.

 Nothing is quite as relaxing as an afternoon at Zama Beach Club.  With a sea view dining area, plenty of shaded space, beautiful pools, and a pristine beach guests can kick back and take in the Caribbean sun or dive off the end of the dock and snorkel.   

Onsite Kayaks and Paddle Boards are available for guests to use during all dedicated free time opportunities.  Paddle out in front of Casa Coco, or over to our neighboring beach.
