Each day you will have the opportunity of an early morning game drive or an optional hot air balloon ride (own expense). Afterwards enjoy breakfast at the lodge after which you can relax and simply enjoy the day or you could join a guided walk around the grounds, an optional guided hike into the park or a day trip to Sun City (own expense).  In the afternoon there is an opportunity for a further game drive.  The Lodge's expert guides will take you each morning and evening into the park to try and spot the big 5 as well as other flora and fauna.  This is all part of the safari experience.  Dinner is in the lodge each night.

After breakfast we will check out of our lodgings and be transferred back to Johannesberg airport stopping on the way for lunch (own expense).  We will then take a domestic flight from Johannesberg to George where will be met by our driver who will transfer us to Knysna.  We will then check into our accommodation with time to freshen up before we met again for an evening cruise on the John Benn. The John Benn is one of the best floating restaurant in Knysna offering daily lagoon cruises to the Knysna Heads.  Group dinner in hotel restaurant (own expense).

After breakfast we will be taken by private vehicle to Tsitsikamma Forest stopping at the Knysna Elephant Park.  The Tsitsikamma Forest is a breathtakingly lush, ancient forest located along the famous Garden Route. Known for its towering trees, deep gorges, and pristine rivers, this forest forms part of the Tsitsikamma National Park, offering visitors a serene retreat into nature. The forest is home to indigenous hardwoods like yellowwood and stinkwood, and a rich diversity of wildlife, including playful vervet monkeys and exotic birds like the Knysna loerie. 

Adventure seekers will love the opportunity for canopy tours, suspension bridge walks, and hikes, including the start of the renowned Otter Trail. The Tsitsikamma Forest offers a perfect mix of tranquility and adventure, with scenic coastal views, dramatic cliffs, and a tranquil atmosphere that immerses you in South Africa’s natural beauty.

This afternoon after lunch (own expense) we will stop at Monkeyland which is the world's first free roaming multi-species primate sanctuary.  Monkeyland's mission is to educate and foster greater understanding of our primate cousins and the threats and challenges they are facing.  We will take a private guided tour which last approximately 1 hour, taking us through the forest where we will learn about and can observe the primates in their natural environment.   

After a full day we will return to our accommodation for a group dinner in hotel restaurant (own expense).

After breakfast we check out and transfer by private vehicle to Stellenbosch.  Enjoy a scenic drive through George and over the Outeniqua Mountain past Oudtshoorn to the Cango Caves, one of the world's great natural wonders sculptured by nature through the ages. The tour continues with a visit to Cango Wildlife Ranch, a breeding facility for endangered species - here you can touch a cheetah, enjoy the closeness of a tiger cub or wrap yourself in a python.  This is followed by a fascinating visit to an ostrich farm, where you can stand on an egg and even ride an ostrich.  We can enjoy lunch together (own expense) at Highgate Ostrich Farm followed by a farm tour.  After lunch we will transfer to Stellenbosch the heart of Wineland where we will check into our accommodation.  After checking in we will meet in the restaurant for dinner (own expense).

After breakfast in our hotel we will taken on a tour of Winelands, from Spice Route of Paal, Vintage Stellenbosch and hands-on blending activity.  Understand single varietals and how they can be used to form a component in a wine blend, adding either structure, fruit, finesse or body to create a well balanced wine.  We will enjoy a picnic lunch together at one of the wineries. After a day of wine tasting we will be returned to our hotel where we can enjoy a group dinner in the hotel restaurant (own expense).

After breakfast we will check out of our hotel and transfer by private vehicle to Cape Town via the Spice Route stopping for wine tastings and lunch (own expense) along the way.  We will then checkin to our hotel in central Cape Town after which we will come together for a group dinner in the hotel restaurant (own expense).

After breakfast in our hotel, we will be taken on a private city tour include a visit to Table Mountain by cableway.  The Table Mountain cableway boasts revolving floors, giving you 360 degree views of Cape Town.  After descending the mountain, you will depart on a tour of the "Mother City" taking in Siignal Hill where the Noon Day Gun is fired at midday, every day except Sunday - through the colourful Bo-Kaap or Cape Malay Quarter, past the Grand Parade, City Hall and the Castle of Good Hope and South African Cultural History Museum.  Lunch is at V & A Waterfront (own expense).  

After lunch we will take the ferry to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. Today, the island remains a tangible symbol of political freedom and a reminder of the difficult road to South African democracy. 

Afterwards we will be taken back to our hotel where we can enjoy a group dinner in the hotel restaurant (own expense).

After breakfast in our hotel we will embark on a full day tour of the Peninsula.   

The famous Peninsula Route exploring the length of Table Mountain National Park through to Cape Point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, via Simons town, the Navy’s main port and quaint fishing village and Boulder’s Beach, home to a land-based breeding colony of the rare African Penguin. 

Drive along the Cape Riviera through Chapman’s Peak Drive, bordered by mountains and ocean. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve at the meeting point of the ocean currents. See the penguin colony at Boulders Beach and enjoy a live encounter with these fascinating creatures. Lunch at Seaforth restaurant (own expense). 

After returning to our hotel to change we will be taken to dinner at Gold Restaurant where we will enjoy dinner and traditional entertainment to celebrate the end our immersive tour of South Africa.
