This morning, you will board a flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport (Kruger National Park Area). The flight departs at 10:30 AM and takes only 55 minutes.

On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met and transferred to Senalala Lodge for your 5-night stay at this small fantastic safari lodge. Set in a vast wilderness area, your visit will be hosted by some of the industry's most professional and respected people, who will make your stay a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

This retreat will be for our group only, with a maximum of only 12 guests. It is a highly private experience, whether on a game drive, eating delicious food, or relaxing with a beverage of your choice in the various tranquil areas of the camp. At any time, you can help yourself to any beverage, hot or cold, just as you would if you were in your own home.  

Your stay at Senalala includes luxury accommodations, twice-daily game drives, walking safaris, meals, a diverse selection of South African wines, beers, selected spirits (domestic and imported), refreshments, WiFi, limited laundry, and access to all the amenities.

Afternoon game drive followed by dinner ( Approx. 3 hours)

6:00 AM- Morning game drive.

Breakfast when we return from the game drive.

Game drives mixed with relaxation and enjoying the amenities of this beautiful lodge. Guests can go out on a game drive twice a day (approximately 3 hours long each) in open safari vehicles that offer unobstructed views in all directions. The animals roam free, and we view them in this open habitat. In exceptional circumstances, we will take our vehicles off-road for unusual sightings, providing you with a unique safari experience to get close to Africa’s wildlife.

Afternoon game drive followed by dinner ( Approx. 3 hours )

6:00 AM- Morning game drive.

Breakfast when we return from the game drive.

2:00 PM- Lunch

This afternoon, we will enjoy a bush walk with our highly trained guide ( optional)

Senalala has a reputation for its team of highly skilled guides, who have extensive experience in leading walking safaris that allow for the opportunity to experience the bush from a very different perspective. This excursion includes studying animal tracks and signs and learning more about the ecology of the surrounding environment. While walking, there is always a chance of tracking and finding animals on foot. Experience nature in its primal form – a unique way to experience the bush and a great addition to your safari. Walking Safaris are done in the morning or afternoon as a substitute for a game drive. This adventure lasts between 2 and 2 1/2 hours, and guests should be in good physical condition (able to walk between 5-7 km).   

Dinner as a group at the lodge.

6:00 AM- Morning game drive. Our first game drive of the day leaves soon after sunrise, with a stop for coffee or tea and a snack in the bush. 

Breakfast when we return from the game drive.

Free time to rest and relax as you wish. 

2:00 PM- Lunch

Afternoon game drive. The second game drive departs in the late afternoon with a stop for sun-downers, where guests can watch the sunset over the African horizon. After the sun sets, we continue with a drive back to the lodge aided by a spotlight for night sightings. 

Dinner at the lodge.

6:00 AM—Morning game drive. Every day at Senalala offers you a unique opportunity to see and experience something different while maintaining some structure in your day.

Free time to rest and relax as you wish.

2:00 PM- Lunch

Afternoon game drive followed by dinner at the lodge.

After breakfast, we will depart from Senalala Safari Lodge to Hoedspruit Airport for our flight back to Johannesburg. Flight time is around 1 hour.

We will arrive back around 1:00 PM. Please plan on taking your departing flight home anytime after 4:00 PM. Your retreat officially ends after breakfast.
