*Day 2: Tipperary*


- Morning:

  - Drive from Wicklow to Tipperary.

  

- Early Lunch:

  - Stop for an early lunch.

  

- Afternoon:

  - Hike Galtymore with Brian and Dec.

  

- Evening:

  - Camp in the beautiful Tipperary Mountains.


*Day 3: Ring of Kerry*


- Morning:

  - Scenic drive from Tipperary to the Ring of Kerry.

  

- Afternoon:

  - Explore the Ring of Kerry.

  

- Evening:

  - Camp close to Clougher Strand.


*Day 4: Wild Atlantic Way and Omey Island*


- Morning:

  - Continue along the Wild Atlantic Way.

  

- Lunch:

  - Stop for lunch in Galway.

  

- Afternoon:

  - Head to Omey Island.

  

- Evening:

  - Camp at Mulranny Camping with facilities for overland vans and 4x4s.


*Day 5: Achill Island*


- Morning:

  - Off-road adventure on Achill Island, featuring rock crawling, sand driving, and greenlanes.

  

- Lunch:

  - Enjoy a packed lunch.

  

- Evening:

  - Option to stay at Temple Manor House with a warm shower.


*Day 6: Fermanagh*


- Morning:

  - Explore the estate, driving through lanes, fields, forests, and by the lake.

  

- Afternoon:

  - Optional paddle boarding across the lake (not included).

  

- Evening:

  - Camp by the lakes in Fermanagh.


*Day 7: Tempo Manor Estate and Mourne Mountains*


- Morning:

  - Full day of off-roading at Tempo Manor Estate.

  

- Afternoon:

  - Drive east to the Mourne Mountains.

  

- Evening:

  - Camp at Slieve Croob Camping.


*Day 8: Mourne Mountains and Farewell*


- Morning:

  - Drive the Banns Road in the Mourne Mountains, a registered Greenlane.

  

- Afternoon:

  - Scenic drive north to Slieve Croob, completing the mountain trail.

  

- Evening:

  - Farewell and end of the tour.

Day 1

Wicklow Mountains

On the first day of your exhilarating Irish off-road adventure, you'll gather at Terrafirma Off-Road Training for a morning safety briefing. Here, you'll meet your experienced guide, Kevin Jones, who will lead you through a hands-on off-road skills training session. Under Kevin's guidance, you'll learn the ins and outs of off-road driving techniques, putting your vehicle through its paces on the challenging terrain of Terrafirma Training. In the afternoon, your journey continues with an off-road tour of the stunning Wicklow Mountains, where you'll traverse rugged tracks and paths that are typically inaccessible to the general public. The breathtaking vistas and the thrill of off-road driving make this day truly memorable. As night falls, you'll set up camp beneath the starry sky at the base of the Wicklow Mountains, creating an authentic and unforgettable wilderness experience.



Day 2

Tipperary

Day 2 brings a change of scenery as you leave Wicklow and drive to Tipperary. Your morning adventure begins with a scenic drive through the Irish countryside, with a stop for an early lunch to recharge. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a driving expedition up the renowned Galtymore peak, led by your experienced guides, Brian and Dec. The drive offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, and you'll immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Tipperary Mountains. As the day comes to an end, you'll have the opportunity to camp in the heart of the Tipperary Mountains, surrounded by the tranquility of nature, creating an intimate and serene connection with Ireland's picturesque landscapes. This day presents a perfect blend of off-road driving, hiking, and camping, catering to the desires of adventure seekers.

Ring of Kerry and Inch Beach

On the third day, you'll temporarily shift away from off-road driving and embark on a scenic journey from Tipperary to the famous Ring of Kerry. The day's adventure takes you through picturesque roads, revealing the stunning Irish landscapes. After conquering the renowned Kerry Ring, you'll venture to Inch Beach, a sand peninsula nestled along the southern Wild Atlantic Way. Here, you'll have the opportunity to appreciate the coastal beauty, with the waves of the Atlantic Ocean lapping at the shore. The day concludes with camping near Clougher Strand, where you can relax and unwind amidst the tranquil coastal setting.

Wild Atlantic Way and Omey Island

Day 4 promises a long and exceptionally scenic road trip as you follow the enchanting route of the Wild Atlantic Way, heading northward through Dingle and Doonbeg. Along the way, you'll take a break for lunch in the vibrant city of Galway, known for its lively atmosphere and cultural heritage. Afterward, your journey leads you to the unique destination of Omey Island. The evening's camp will be set up at Mulranny Camping, a facility well-equipped to cater to overland vans and 4x4s. The campsite provides comfort and convenience, ensuring a pleasant evening for the guests who have indulged in a day of picturesque coastal travel and exploration.

Achill Island Off-Roading and Temple Manor House

Day 5 marks your return to off-road adventures as you leave the asphalt behind and venture onto the scenic lanes of Achill Island. This off-road paradise offers a thrilling mix of terrains, including rock crawling, sand driving, and numerous greenlanes. As you navigate through this rugged and pristine landscape, your off-road skills will be put to the test, providing an adrenaline rush and a deep connection to the natural beauty of Achill Island. Be sure to have your packed lunch with you as you'll explore remote villages that have been abandoned since the famine times, offering a poignant glimpse into Irish history.


In the evening, your journey takes a more comfortable turn as you head to Temple Manor House. Here, you'll have the option to stay in the house, which provides a contrast to the rustic outdoor experiences of the previous days. A warm shower and the comfort of a house offer a delightful change of pace, allowing you to relax and recharge for the days to come. This day offers an intriguing balance between rugged off-road exploration and a touch of luxury and comfort, providing a well-rounded experience for guests on the Irish off-road adventure.

Day 6: Estate Exploration and Paddle Boarding in Fermanagh

Day 6 begins with a hearty breakfast, preparing you for a day of exploration and adventure. Your journey takes you around an estate, where you'll have the opportunity to drive through picturesque lanes, traverse long stretches of fields, and wind your way through forests. The estate also features a beautiful lake, providing a serene backdrop for your off-road escapades. As you navigate the diverse terrains of the estate, you'll experience the charm of the Irish countryside up close.


In the afternoon, you have the option to further enhance your adventure by trying paddle boarding across the lake. This exciting water activity offers a unique perspective of the landscape, and an instructor is available to provide guidance for those who wish to partake. It's important to note that this paddle boarding experience is not included in the tour price, giving guests the flexibility to choose this optional activity. Following your estate exploration and paddle boarding adventures, you'll continue your journey northward, taking small roads to Fermanagh. The day culminates with a campsite beside the tranquil lakes of Fermanagh, allowing you to enjoy the serenity of the waterside setting. Day 6 combines off-road exploration with a touch of water-based adventure, catering to a variety of interests and preferences among the tour's participants.

Tempo Manor and Slieve Croob Camping

After a hearty breakfast, your day kicks off with a visit to Tempo Manor Estate, where you'll enjoy a full day of off-roading excitement. This estate boasts a rich off-road heritage, with its track originally built by Land Rover. Over the years, it has hosted events for notable automotive brands such as Volkswagen and, more recently, Ineos Grenadier. As you navigate the challenging terrain and thrilling off-road course, you'll test the capabilities of your vehicle and put your newly acquired skills to the test.


After concluding your off-roading adventures at Tempo, you'll embark on a journey eastward towards the captivating Mourne Mountains. The day concludes at Slieve Croob Camping, where you can unwind and reflect on the experiences of your Irish off-road journey. 


Day 8

Banns Road and Farewell

On the final full day of your adventure, you'll start the morning with a satisfying breakfast before heading to the Banns Road in the majestic Mourne Mountains. This location is home to one of the only registered Greenlanes in Northern Ireland, offering a unique off-road driving experience. As you travel along scenic roads in the north, you'll eventually return to Slieve Croob, where you'll drive the entire mountain trail, culminating at the summit. This section of the journey is exclusively off-road, with no lanes, making it a thrilling and challenging experience best suited for advanced drivers.

As your Irish overland and off-road adventure comes to a close, a final farewell will be in order. Guests will have the option to take the nearest ferry from Larne, marking the end of the 8-day journey. Alternatively, you can extend your exploration by an additional 5 days to embark on the Causeway Coastal Route and discover the beauty of Donegal with Adam, providing an excellent conclusion to your Irish adventure.
