Joining Mitch on a whirlwind adventure through Washington D.C. and New York City was like stepping into a real-life history book, but with a whole lot more fun and excitement! Mitch, our amazing tour guide, made sure every moment was packed with cool facts, awesome sights, and plenty of laughs. As we kicked off our journey in Washington D.C., Mitch’s energy was contagious! He gave us so much information about the monuments and museums we visited and made sure the students stayed engaged and involved throughout. The trip was nonstop, meticulously planned, yet flexible when needed. Mitch connected with the students in a friendly and respectful way, he just "got" 8th graders! In his hometown of New York, Mitch made sure we didn’t miss a thing as we explored Times Square, Central Park, Ellis Island, the Edge, etc, etc. The students got to do real-life New Yorker things - such as dining with Broadway stars, riding the subway, and enjoying Times Square. A great trip, with fantastic memories and experiences for the students.
