Spring into Spring and find more balance in your life at our Spring Equinox yoga, meditation, wellness and wine tasting retreat at the beautiful Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma wine country. Nourish your body, mind and soul with a weekend of yoga, nature, hiking, homemade cuisine made with local, organic and seasonal produce, and delicious Sonoma wines. Connect with yourself and others and enjoy a mini vacation as well, with some downtime by the outdoor pool, or visiting surrounding wine country.


The equinox is a time of balance, with equal hours of day and night, light and dark. It's a perfect time to let go of the past and of the winter season and set positive intentions for the new Spring season, through guided meditations and inner reflection, opening yourself up to new possibilities and creations.


All levels are welcome and encouraged. We look forward to meeting you!


The yoga classes will be mostly a Vinyasa Flow, linking movement with the breath, moving your body through both power and restorative poses. The classes will be theme-based, creative and balanced and will incorporate pranayama (breathing), strengthening, stretching, detoxing, energizing, and meditation. You will experience a safe and nurturing practice, leaving you feeling relaxed yet energized.

Location

The retreat will be held at the beautiful Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma, California, just 1 hour drive north of San Francisco and 5 minutes drive from Sonoma plaza, in the heart of breathtaking Sonoma wine country.


Westerbeke has a lovely rural Ranch feel and nestles amid stately oaks, surrounded by rolling grass hills and vineyards in Sonoma's Valley of the Moon. There is an onsite outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna for soaking and relaxing after yoga or hiking. Delicious fresh, local, nutritious, sustainable and hand-made farm to table food will be served 3 times daily, by wonderful cooks of the highest caliber, artists in their own right.


The closest airports are Sonoma County Airport (30 mins drive), San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK) and Sacramento (SMF) Airports. SFO, OAK and SMF are approximately 1.5 hours drive from the retreat center. If you do not wish to rent a car, airport bus schedules from SFO and OAK to Sonoma county can be found here. The nearest bus station to get off at is Petaluma or Sonoma County Airport, 30 mins taxi or Uber to/from Westerbeke Ranch. Coordination of transport to/from the retreat is not included. Driving directions will be provided a few weeks prior to arrival.

Sally is passionate about teaching and healing to share with others the practices that have helped her to heal her own body and discover a path of transformation and greater self awareness.


Growing up in Scotland, Sally has been an athlete since childhood, always loving movement and fascinated by the human body and the mind. She is so grateful to have the opportunity to inspire and coach others to become healthier and happier and awaken to their inner desires and purpose, through the gifts of yoga, meditation, mindful movement, massage and energy healing. Before You Go

What To Bring

Yoga mat, comfortable and loose fitting clothes for yoga and hiking, hiking or good walking shoes for trails, water bottle, flashlight, bathing suit and optional robe or sarong for pool and hot tub, sun lotion and sun hat, warm and waterproof jacket or sweater for cool or wet weather, optional eye mask or small hand towel to cover eyes during meditations.


Note: Yoga blocks and straps will be provided.

Most well known for her monthly Yoga, Hiking & Wine Tasting retreats for all levels in Sonoma, California Wine Country, Sally is passionate about teaching and sharing with others the practices that have helped her to heal her own body and discover a path of transformation and greater self awareness.
