Welcome to our home in Negril Jamaica. I am a Registered Nurse and certified Nurse coach who believes in natural and alternative medicine. My wife Norma is one of the most gifted Massage Therapists that I know. We have experienced all kinds of modalities for healing. The best modality that we have found is just rest and relaxation. We encourage clients to connect to optimal health by hitting the pause button in order to replenish the body's energy. 

When I migrated from Jamaica at 16 years old, it was always my dream to return and to share my home with my friends. My personal trauma could not keep me away from my people and the land. My culture was everywhere. The food, the music, the love, never left me. Family stuff aside, I needed to be swimming in the clear sea and walking in the lush hills to soothe my soul. As an adult, I have been healing myself and have returned to my island home to rest and replenish my body, mind and spirit. Serenity villa in Negril, is a peaceful respite from the busyness of my everyday life. My wife Norma is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has the most blessed hands you will ever encounter. In order to help to heal humanity, we have created this wellness retreat and respite home with our amazing children and grandchildren. 

I now go to Jamaica to reset and recharge. I invite you to do the same at our beautiful vacation villa. Some people like the peaceful quiet of our home at Phoenix Serenity Villa and may hardly leave the property.  Guests may decide to take in the sun on a yoga mat on the soft grass or just have a drink or smoke on the veranda. Others may decide to have an occasional (10 mins) walk to the beach or to visit our neighborhood bars and restaurants within walking distance from the house. Others, may prefer to light up the town. For those who long for adventure and nightlife, Negril does not disappoint! Negril has a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops, and resorts (you can experience them with a day or night pass, the best of both worlds). The iconic Seven Mile Beach is only a short car ride away.

Rooms are based on one person in the bed. Some rooms will have a roommate. Each additional person that would like to share a bed in the room, will be charged according to food, excursions, etc, please text us at 352-816-3661 to add people to your room.

We reserve the right to not have kids unless we are hosting a family. The reason for this is that a lot of adults want to escape the kids for couple time. To be fair to other people, we limit kids only to family events. Thanks for understanding. 

Explore in our own van, lovingly called "Max", around the island with our own driver.  A lot of the excursions are a little off the beaten path, in all the best ways. Connect to the hills of Jamaica as well as its beaches, caves and falls. This is a unique fusion of family and tourist immersion into our island culture.

A 10 minute walk and you cross the road and run right into this bar. The frozen fruit drinks are amazing. You can have them with or without alcohol.

We spend the day exploring the sea with Captain Sheldon on his glass bottom boat. We snorkel two different areas and check out sunken shipwreck items. We also get to see the iconic 7 Mile Beach with the large resorts and hear the history of Negril. Come and visit the land of Giants - Jamaica's #1 Sculpture Park. Have an intimate experience with thousands of acres of unspoiled tropical forests and unique art. Jamaica Giants is a spectacular private art collection of specially commissioned pieces almost 40 life-size permanent stone art and over 120 paintings all created by local artists. An amazing experience.

Now that you have carved through your obstacles, it is time to let the soothing river take it out to the heart of the sea. This famous Jamaican beach in Negril—once plagued by pirates—is now a popular spot for sun-seekers and beach lovers. The seven-mile stretch of stunning white sand beach has plenty of bars and restaurants, plus clear waters that are great for snorkeling—just remember to watch out for stingrays! You can also take a glass-bottom boat tour over the turquoise waters. Stick around for the breathtaking sunset over the Caribbean.
