Going on retreat offers an opportunity to let down the stresses of life, to be nourished by the north woods, and deepen your yoga, meditation, and pranayama practices. You will learn Ayurvedic self-care rituals as well as lifestyle and practice recommendations to align harmoniously with the season, so your health and well-being may flourish.
The Christine Center, 3 hours northwest from Madison, is nestled in the tranquil woods of northern Wisconsin on 125 acres, offering a nurturing and supportive environment for deepening practice and connection. The retreat center is run by a group of Franciscan nuns and for 30 years has been a center open to all paths of faith and spirituality.
(10-hours of continuing education are available for Yoga Alliance registered teachers)

TRAVEL + ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Please plan to arrive at The Christine Center between 3:30-6:45 pm on Friday. A welcome dinner is served at 5:30 pm and the first class begins on at 7 pm. On Sunday class ends at noon followed by a departure lunch at 12:30 pm. If you would like to also stay Sunday night, additional reservations can be made through the Christine Center.
The Christine Center is nestled on 125 acres of tranquil woodlands in north central Wisconsin, located at W8303 Mann Road in Willard. Traveling by car is about a 2.5-3 hour drive from Madison.

Prior to registering for the retreat, please read The Christine Center's Health & Safety Protocol. Throughout the retreat social distancing of 6 feet will be practiced and masks will be required as per Madison & Dane County order of Public Health to be worn by staff, teachers and participants. While practicing on one’s yoga mat, masks must be worn (disposable paper masks are the most breathable). While within the main building noble silence will be practiced while conversations will be encouraged outdoors.
Participants must bring their own yoga mat, yoga block, yoga strap, and meditation cushion.
Participants must obtain a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than three days before their arrival at the retreat or show proof of vaccination.

Single guest rooms are fully private rooms within a home or modern hermitage that share a full onsite bathroom.
Rumi is a hermitage with two bedrooms and shared bath (shared by two people).
Mary's Villa is a home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms (shared by 2-4 people).
