Belvedere House and Garden:

We take you across country today on our way to the North West. We visit the famous Belvedere House with its jealous wall and the many stories that is associated with the family that owned the house. 

Carrick-on-Shannon:

On your way to your accommodation in South Sligo, we will take a break in the town of Carrick-on-Shannon. While there you can check out the smallest Church in Europe, have a nice meal in one of the many good restaurants and have a look at some of the shops too.

Lough Key Forest park:

We then take in Lough Key Forest in Co Roscommon. This beautiful place was once owned by a High King called McDermott. While there, you will see the 11th century beautiful castle that sits on its own island out on the lake. You can enjoy the many walks, bog gardens, fairy bridges and wishing chairs, along with some amazing trees.

Mullaghmore Coastal Drive:

We take you to the coast on the North West of Sligo on this beautiful, rugged coastal drive. You will see Classiebawn Castle, waves crashing on the rocks, beautiful scenery too.

 Gleniff Horseshoe Drive, 

Another stunning rugged part of Sligo is what is locally called "The Horseshoe Drive" because it is shaped in the form of a horseshoe. It is the back of the iconic Benbulben mountain and it is just an untouched, beautiful landscape. Wild and wonderful.

Glencar Waterfall 

Another Natural beautiful place that many people visit each year. Both the waterfall and the lake are beautiful and are the inspiration for many songs and poems.

 Drumcliff Church yard 

where we will find the last resting place of the famous poet WB Yeats! Yeats is internationally known as one of the best Irish poets to have lived. He wrote about mystical and magical themes until he became interested in the struggle in the fight for Irish freedom. He spent much of his time in and around Sligo and wrote about Glencar waterfall and many more places in Sligo.

Museum of Country Life:

Here you will learn how the Irish lived, worked and enjoyed life. You can roam around the rooms and places full of interesting information.  

Kylemore Abbey:

We then go to Kylemore Abbey which is in the heart of Connemara. The scenery is breath-taking on the way to this abbey and both the Abbey and the grounds are spectacular. It also has a stunning walled garden that has to be seen to be believed. There is a lovely pathway that takes you beyond the Abbey where you will find a "wishing stone". So if you have a special wish, this is your chance to make it happen.

Sliabh Liag:

This place is to Donegal what the Cliffs of Moher are to Clare. Breath-taking scenery, amazing walks and stunning sea views. This is one of the gems of Ireland that is not well known to people other than the locals. 

Donegal Town:

We spend a little time in Donegal town on our way back to Sligo to our accommodations. You can stroll through the town, get something to eat and maybe do a little shopping too. 

Suprise location:

On the way back to our accommodation, we will stop off at a suprise location and show you something that comes from ancient times.

Knock;

Knock is a very important place to Christians all around the world. It is Ireland's "Lourdes". You will get a chance to walk the grounds of the Basilica, which was constructed to give shelter to the many who came to pray. Pop into the Apparition Chapel where the apparition was witnessed  in 1879. Take some holy water from one of the many taps or just take a stroll through the shops that are just a short walk away.

Galway City:

Known as the city of Tribes:

Galway city is a must. If you go to Ireland you have to experience the atmosphere there. From the bustling streets with street musicians to all the little cute shops and cobbled stoned side streets. It truly is a special place and then we go out to an Irish speaking part of Galway.

 craft village :

in Spiddal beside the sea. There you will see many crafts on display, such as glass cutting, knitting, weaving, instrument making and so much more.

Belleek Pottery:

Belleek Pottery has a long history which spans back to 1849. It is a story which began at Castle Caldwell, and has links Longford, London and Dublin. Once the plans for raw materials, power, capital and transportation all in place, plans for the construction of a pottery building, on Thursday 18th November 1858 Mrs Bloomfield laid the foundation stone. 

From there Belleek Pottery has become known globally, it has had several changes of ownership, it has gathered an avid collectors group, changed trademarks on numerous occasions, and it has adapted to the ever-changing world and has acquired and expanded its portfolio.

Alpaca Farm:

We bring you to a unique farm where you will see many animals but you also get to see Alpaca too. 

Sligo Town:

You will be able to check out some restaurants and have an evening meal in Sligo and if you want to do a pub crawl before going back to the hotel, you can do that too.

We bring you to Dublin center where you can have the afternoon and evening exploring and shopping before we go to our final accommodations. Yes it's true! We get to stay in a real Irish castle tonight, Fitzpatricks Castle. This castle has all the old world charm of a 10th century castle but with all the modern conveniences of a 4 star hotel! Enjoy.
