Springtime in Ireland is a magical time of the year and Secret Ireland Tours wants to share Ireland with you. Smell the freshly cut meadows, see the wild flowers growing on the hedgerows, experience the luscious landscapes, from the rugged coast line of the North West to the beautiful scenery of Connemara. We visit great houses with their walled gardens, to Castles, to ancient sites. You have it all in this tour.

Come with us to Ireland and enjoy the spring colors, sounds and smells of the beautiful countryside. We bring you to some very popular places such as Powerscourt House and gardens, amazing Castles, we visit the highest Cliffs in Europe, the famous Kylemore Abbey, and so much more. You will be entertained by local traditional musicians and you will meet the locals Too!

1 The company requires non-refundable deposits to be paid as per tour in a timely manner. By paying a deposit you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Company.

2 Our tours are all based on double occupancy. There will be an additional supplement for single travelers which will depend on tour taken.

3 Payment for deposit will hold your place, final balance payment will be 30 days before the start of your choice of tour. If you are paying by credit card you will have bank charges.

4 Installment plans are available for anyone who would like to avail of them.

5 Travel insurance is something that the company strongly suggests all clients purchase to protect their travel investment.

6 Due to limited capacity on coaches, there is a limit of one suitcase per passenger.

7 Participants are responsible for all their property, luggage, backpacks, phone's, laptops etc.

8 The company tour guide will give all participants phone no's of tour guides and driver at the start of the trip or in an email before the start of the trip, it is vital that you keep these in a safe place.

9 At the start of each day your tour guide will tell you what time you should be ready, or to be on the bus for the next day's journey, it is up to you to contact your guide if you missed announcements on times.

10 There is a cancellation fee for participants who cancel within 90 days of the start of trip. Please see contract.

11 Some of our trips require walking over stony roads and pathways, it is advised to always bring strong waterproof walking shoes, and waterproof/windproof outer coats/jackets also.

12 We also advise all participants to let us know of food allergies they have.

13 Each participant is responsible for their baggage being brought from the Coach to their accommodation except in the case where the company have booked porterage. The group will be advised where porterage will take place.

14 Conditions, availability, or contractual obligations may warrant for dates, venues, lodging, talent/celebrity headliners/hosts/guests. Ambassadors, tour guides or transportation modes to be changed or cancelled. It is our intent and obligation, within the best of our ability, to substitute and /or accommodate equal or enhanced alternatives. We will not refund any deposits or payments towards the tour due to these conditions.

Airport Transfers
We pick you up at Dublin airport at 9 am the first morning of your tour and we bring you back the day you are due to fly home.
Accommodation
You stay in a small rural family run hotel called Cawleys Hotel in South Sligo for 5 nights, The night before we leave Ireland we stay in Fitzpatrick's Castle, South Dublin!
8 Breakfasts
We enjoy a hearty breakfast each morning before leaving for our days excursion.
Motor Coach
We have a very comfortable motor coach to bring you from one amazing place to another.
Expert Driver
Our drives are experts and know the highways and byways of Ireland.
Guides
You have expert Secret Ireland Tours guides that enjoy telling you all the stories of each place we visit. Some of us are musical and we love to entertain you while on the road.
Venue's
All entry fee's to venues that we visit that are on the itinerary is covered in your cost of this tour.
Taxes and Charges
Hotels and bus company and some venues charges Taxes and Charges. These are covered.
Food
We supply snacks and soft drinks on the bus while we are on the road.

We pick you up from the airport and bring you to the idilic Glendalough ancient monastic site. There you can walk back in time while you explore the famous St Kevins round tower, the remains of the Churches. We will then bring you to see the stunning scenery of the Lake and the walks around it.

Belvedere House/ Lough Key Forest Park
We take you across country today on our way to the North West. We visit the famous Belvedere House with its jealous wall and the many stories that is associated with the family that owned the house.
We then take in Lough Key Forest in Co Roscommon. This beautiful place was once owned by a High King called McDermott. While there, you will see the 11th century beautiful castle that sits on its own island out on the lake. You can enjoy the many walks, bog gardens, fairy bridges and wishing chairs, along with some amazing trees.

Today we take a scenic trip all around the North West coast, visiting Mullaghmore coastal drive, Gleniff Horseshoe Drive, Glencar Waterfall and the Drumcliff Church yard where we will find the last resting place of the famous poet WB Yeats!

Museum of Country Life and KyleMore Abbey
We go West today and visit the famous Westport House and Gardens. This is one of the great houses in Ireland that date back to the 13th century. It has stunning gardens and is rich in history.
We then go to Kylemore Abbey which is in the heart of Connemara. The scenery is breath-taking on the way to this abbey and both the Abbey and the grounds are spectacular. It also has a stunning walled garden that has to be seen to be believed.

Sliabh Liag
This place is to Donegal what the Cliffs of Moher are to Clare. Breath-taking scenery, amazing walks and stunning sea views. This is one of the gems of Ireland that is not well known to people other than the locals.
We spend a little time in Donegal town on our way back to Sligo to our accommodations.

Galway
Galway city is a must. If you go to Ireland you have to experience the atmosphere there. From the bustling streets with street musicians to all the little cute shops and cobbled stoned side streets. It truly is a special place and then we go out to an Irish speaking part of Galway, we visit the craft village in spiddal beside the sea. There you will see many crafts on display, such as glass cutting, knitting, weaving, instrument making and so much more.

Beach Day
We are going to visit three of the Sligo beaches today. Streedagh beach is a very historic beach because this is where 3 Spanish Armada ships ran aground. Over 1400 crew members were washed ashore.
Rosses Point beach is a beautiful beach to take a walk and it is right beside the Golf links. Strandhill beach is world renowned for its surfing competitions and wild waves. We will also spend some time in Sligo, if you want to explore or do some shopping.

Malahide Castle and Fitzpatricks Castle
We return to Dublin today and visit Malahide Castle. Again a great history and stunning gardens. We then go to the National Museum and botanical gardens before we go to our final accommodations. Yes it's true! We get to stay in a real Irish castle tonight, Fitzpatricks Castle. This castle has all the old world charm of a 10th century castle but with all the modern conveniences of a 4 star hotel! Enjoy.

Unfortunately, my review for this trip is 2 stars and I’ve conveyed my complaints to Mai on several emails. This trip did not live up to the expectations and was very disappointing when it comes to the itinerary changes, expectations, health and safety, overall costs, and what we received for the costs. The trip that was conveyed was not what I received. That’s unfortunate and I expect this review to be removed from the site.

As I explained to you in our email exchange, we have stated on our WeTravel itinerary, each days itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and other things. I know that the tour guide decided to change a few things around because of weather, and you did not see some places that you wanted. This could not be avoided. We have had great comments from many of the other people in the group.

The trip was absolutely fantastic! The hotels had that Old World feel and we situated close to the center of towns so there was plenty to do. The scheduled events were plentiful but not so much you felt rushed. Our guide Frank was the best! His unique experience of life as an Irishman made for a great perspective on the culture and character of this great land. Everyone was so pleasant. I definitely recommend an Irish tour of your own.
