Itinerary

Soft itinerary
Deep rest & Restore Yoga and meditation retreat

Friday, March 15: 

Arrive at 4 pm or later: find your room, enjoy a light snack, meet & greet, saunter to the beach. 

5 pm -ish: grounding Yoga session for hips & shoulders, slow flow, followed by a nourishing dinner (6:30pm). Round off your day with a short yoga nidra (guided lying down meditation). Use the hottub any time! 


Saturday, March 16

7:30 am Sunrise meditation (or sleep in!) 8:30am Breakfast. 

9;30 am Invigorating 90 minute Yoga class.  

Lunch: pack your lunch or eat in, plenty of time to hike, get a massage, rest, read, or spend time at the beach

4pm: light snack/teatime, followed by a late afternoon yoga session and meditation.

6 pm: vibrant dinner

After dinner options: night hike at the beach and/or Yoga Nidra session


Sunday, March 17

7:30 sunrise meditation (or sleep in). Light breakfast, 

9:30 yoga session & closing circle. Check out by 12 noon

Suzanne Zuber, Certified Anusara® Yoga Teacher and RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, is well-known for her radiant positivity and expert instruction. She teaches public and private classes, workshops, restorative yoga, kids' yoga, corporate yoga and Teacher Trainings in the Bay Area and worldwide. Suzanne brings her dance background into her alignment-based Hatha and Vinyasa classes. Her first priority is to help her students explore tools to release tension, grow strong to the core, and become well-aligned in body, mind, and spirit.

Retreat was amazing. Suzanne brings her heart and soul to everything, from yoga to home cooked incredible food. Since I am older, I was worried about being able to keep up with yoga and surfing but the atmosphere Suzanne creates is so relaxed, there was nothing to worry about. 5 stars, thumbs up.

What a fabulous retreat! Great food, great yoga, great surfing, great company. We had a wonderful time even with the power out. Suzanne is a wonderful cook and she gathered a very welcoming and interesting group of people together. My husband and I attended on the spur of the moment. We didn't know any of the other people there but they made us feel welcome from the start. We were a bit nervous about the surfing but it was super fun and the beach was gorgeous.

Suzanne is so full of positive energy! Her nurturing spirit and delightful sense of humor would bring any group together. The venue for the yoga and meditation retreat was serene and spa-like, with gorgeous views of the ocean and nature all around. The weekend was a bounty of restorative and challenging yoga, thoughtful meditation, self-care, and delicious and nourishing food. We are already looking forward to the next one!

Crashing waves, birds chirping, sun shining overhead, beautifully kind people, nourishing food. These are just some highlights of this restful & rejuvenating weekend with Suzanne. The ongoing challenge to slow down & check in with myself will always be there, but Suzanne gave me the key to the portal where I can access myself in blissful states of yoga & meditation. I feel so grateful that I was able to participate in this weekend of wellness that I plan on incorporating these teachings into my everyday practice.

Visiting the Bay Area from Germany for a few weeks I was looking for a special event that would make me trip memorable. I chose Suzanne's yoga retreat. It was wonderful. Great location and venue. A very nice group of people. Just the right size. Delicious meals prepared with love by Suzanne. Good mixture of demanding and relaxing yoga sessions and meditations, Free time for walks on the beach. I am 150% happy!

Suzanne is a wonderful yoga teacher! Her classes are filled with laughter, energy and good will! They are both challenging and suited to all levels. She takes great care to correct form....I went to her retreat last year and it was terrific. I am very much looking forward to the next one!

Suzanne's retreats are very special and I've loved them all! There was a really nice balance of yoga, meditation and time to restore, especially in the beauty of Nature. She's a great teacher, in many ways, and always fun to be around too. One of my favorites for sure! Highly recommended!
