YOUR HOME IN SRI LANKA

You'll stay at Kurulu Bay, a luxury boutique retreat surrounded by tropical gardens, jungle and the tranquil waters of Koggala Lake.

Designed as a space to slow down and reconnect, Kurulu Bay offers beautiful open-air spaces, peaceful surroundings and the perfect setting for your week away.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on Sri Lanka Rise.

Payment plans are available. Where a payment plan is selected, all agreed instalments must be paid by the due dates shown at the time of booking.

Your place on the RiTreat is confirmed once your deposit has been received.

All prices are quoted in GBP unless otherwise stated.

By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

The deposit is non-refundable once your booking has been confirmed.

If you cancel on or before 31 January 2027, you will receive a refund of payments made, excluding your non-refundable deposit and any non-recoverable costs already paid by RiTreats on your behalf.

From 1 February 2027, all payments are non-refundable.

No refunds will be provided for cancellations, non-attendance or early departure after this date.

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your place to another person. Any transfer must be approved by RiTreats in advance, and the replacement guest must meet all booking requirements. Any costs associated with the transfer are the responsibility of the original guest.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover.

CHANGES TO THE RITREAT

RiTreats reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, activities, timings, experiences or facilities where necessary due to weather, safety, availability, operational requirements or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

Where an experience becomes unavailable, RiTreats will provide a suitable alternative where reasonably possible.

External experiences, including boat trips, excursions and activities with external suppliers, are subject to weather, safety and operational availability.

Changes to the itinerary do not entitle guests to a refund where the overall RiTreat experience remains available.

TRAVEL

Flights to and from Sri Lanka are not included in the RiTreat price.

Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights, passports, visas/ETA requirements and travel insurance.

Airport transfers between Colombo International Airport (CMB) and Kurulu Bay are included as stated in your booking information.

Guests are responsible for ensuring they arrive in time for the RiTreat and for making appropriate arrangements for their departure.

RiTreats is not responsible for costs arising from delayed, cancelled or missed flights, lost luggage, travel disruption or other travel arrangements outside of RiTreats' control.

PASSPORTS & VISAS

Guests are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport and meet all entry requirements for Sri Lanka.

Your passport should meet the validity requirements applicable to your nationality and travel dates.

Guests are responsible for obtaining any required visa or ETA and paying any applicable fees.

Travel requirements can change, so guests should check the latest official requirements before travelling.

WELLBEING & PARTICIPATION

Sri Lanka Rise includes Pilates, mindful movement, Muay Thai, ice baths and other physical or experiential activities.

All activities are optional. You are responsible for listening to your body and participating at a level appropriate for you.

Guests must inform RiTreats before the RiTreat of any relevant medical, physical, dietary or accessibility requirements that may affect their participation or stay.

Certain activities may not be suitable for everyone. If you are unsure whether an activity is appropriate for you, you should seek advice from an appropriate qualified professional before participating.

RiTreats does not provide medical care, diagnosis or medical advice.

Guests participate in physical activities at their own discretion and responsibility.

FOOD & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included as outlined in the RiTreat itinerary.

Guests must notify RiTreats of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking or as soon as they become known.

While RiTreats will communicate dietary requirements to the venue and relevant suppliers, we cannot guarantee that food will be completely free from traces of allergens.

COMMUNITY & CONDUCT

RiTreats are intentionally created as safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for women.

All guests are expected to treat fellow RiTreat Sisters, the RiTreat team, venue staff and external suppliers with kindness and respect.

Discrimination, harassment, threatening behaviour, bullying, abuse or behaviour that negatively impacts the safety or experience of other guests will not be tolerated.

RiTreats reserves the right to ask a guest to leave the RiTreat without refund where their behaviour is considered threatening, abusive, discriminatory, disruptive or otherwise inappropriate.

PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT

Photography and video may be captured throughout the RiTreat for RiTreats and WatchRiGlow marketing, social media and promotional purposes.

By attending the RiTreat, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs or video captured during group activities and experiences.

If you do not wish to appear in content, please notify RiTreats before the RiTreat begins and make yourself known to the RiTreat team during photography or filming.

RiTreats will make reasonable efforts to respect individual content preferences.

VENUE & EXTERNAL SUPPLIERS

Certain elements of Sri Lanka Rise are provided by Kurulu Bay or external suppliers, including transportation, excursions, specialist activities and experiences.

RiTreats carefully selects its suppliers but cannot be held responsible for changes, delays, cancellations, service interruptions or issues caused by external providers or circumstances outside RiTreats' reasonable control.

Where possible, RiTreats will provide a suitable alternative.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Your policy should provide appropriate cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings, travel disruption, missed connections and activities you choose to participate in.

RiTreats cannot be responsible for financial losses arising from circumstances outside of its reasonable control, including flight cancellations, delays, weather conditions, illness, lost luggage or changes to external suppliers.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the RiTreat.

RiTreats is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings unless caused by RiTreats' proven negligence.

Guests are responsible for using any safes or security facilities provided by the accommodation.

RITREAT CANCELLATION

If RiTreats is required to cancel the RiTreat before departure due to circumstances within RiTreats' control, RiTreats will communicate the available options to guests as soon as reasonably possible.

If cancellation is required due to circumstances outside RiTreats' reasonable control, RiTreats will work with guests and suppliers to determine the most appropriate available solution.

RiTreats is not responsible for additional costs incurred by guests, including flights, travel arrangements or travel insurance.

FORCE MAJEURE

RiTreats will not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

This may include, but is not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, political instability, pandemics, strikes, transport disruption, venue closure or other unforeseen events.

Where such circumstances affect the RiTreat, RiTreats will communicate with guests and make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement.

By completing your booking, you confirm that:

• You are responsible for ensuring you meet all travel and entry requirements.

• You understand that the itinerary may change where reasonably necessary.

• You understand that participation in physical and experiential activities is optional and undertaken at your own discretion.
