After enjoying your breakfast, we will leave for Dambulla for the night. You will have the afternoon to explore the historically rich city of Dambulla. 

Optional: you could visit the amazing Dambulla cave temple that is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.

We will head towards the infamous Sigiriya rock fortress in the morning. Referred by locals as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the rock is an inselberg, which dominates the landscape and was both a military refuge as well as an aesthetic refuge for one of the kings who was a patron of the arts. We will spend the morning climbing this beautiful rock fortress for some breathtaking views of the country.

Afterwards we will leave for Nuwaraeliya via Kandy. En route, we will visit the Temple of the tooth relic which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Afterwards, we will proceed to the tea country of Sri Lanka and spend the rest of the day at leisure. 

In the morning, we will walk through Horton plains national park and make our way towards World's End, a stunning viewpoint, which is a sheer drop of 870 meters hidden in the clouds. On a clear day, you can see the Indian Ocean.

After we've taken in the beautiful views, we will head to a Tea plantation and a tea factory to experience the Ceylon tea-making process. 

On our way to down south towards the Weligama beach and Yala national park, we will stop in Ella town and Ravanaella waterfall, where you can take a dip and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.

We will drive to the Yala National Park first thing in the morning to sight see some wild animals in their natural habitat.  According to the Leopard Research sponsored by Yala Safari Game Lodge, Yala Block 1 has one of the highest densities of Leopards in the world. Yala, therefore, offers one of the best chances in Asia to see Leopards. You may also see Elephants, Sloth Bears, Sambhurs, Spotted Deer, Wild Boars & many more species.

We will visit Galle dutch fort in the morning. Dutch Fort-Galle is a UNESCO world heritage sites. Walk in the narrow picturesque streets, shop at local boutique stores, enjoy a delicious meal at one of many restaurants by the water. 

Return to your accommodation & remainder of the day at leisure by the beach. 

Though it will be difficult to say goodbye, all good things come to an end. Your representative from Sri Lanka will meet you on time in the hotel lobby to return you by way of a scenic drive to the international airport for your departing flight and a safe journey home.
