This morning, we’ll drive to Kandy. On the way, we’ll stop at a Spice & Herbal Garden to learn about natural Ayurvedic medicine—a truly educational experience. Once we arrive in Kandy, we’ll take a stroll through the Royal Botanical Garden, where you can admire colorful flowers, hundreds of orchids, and much more.
You’ll also have the chance to visit the Gem Museum, where you can discover the history of Sri Lanka’s precious gems, including the world-famous Ceylon sapphires. We’ll also stop by the Art and Craft Center to learn about the island's rich artistic heritage.
For lunch, we’ll enjoy a meal by Sri Lanka’s longest river, a perfect spot to relax and take in the beautiful views of the river and surrounding hills. After lunch, we’ll visit the Bahirawa Kanda Buddhist Statue, offering panoramic views of the area.
In the evening, we’ll attend the Kandy Cultural Show, which features traditional Fire dancing and performances. Later, we’ll visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic during the ceremony, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness offerings and receive a blessing.
