This is Sri Lanka the way it deserves to be experienced - slowly, together and with women who get it.
Over fourteen days you'll climb the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress at dawn, share a home-cooked lunch in a local village, witness the sacred Temple of the Tooth in Kandy and walk through working tea estates on the Pekoe Trail. You'll watch artisans hand-dye fabric at a traditional batik workshop, ride one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world through the hill country to Ella, search for leopards and elephants on a jeep safari in Yala National Park and unwind on the golden sand of Mirissa with a day trip to historic Galle Fort. The journey ends in Colombo with a tuk-tuk city tour and a farewell dinner with your new favourite travel companions.
This is a genuinely small group - maximum 12 women - accompanied throughout by one English-speaking national guide, driver and driver assistant for the full fourteen days. It's a trip with real adventure in it: an early-morning rock climb, a 9km highland hike, a wildlife safari. It also has plenty of slower days built in - coastal time, leisurely afternoons, a beach in the second half of the trip purely for unwinding. If you can comfortably manage stairs and walking for a few hours, you'll be absolutely fine.
This tour is open exclusively to women aged 18 and over.
Spots are genuinely limited. This is a small-group trip, capped at 12 women - once we're full, that's it.
Early bird pricing ends soon. Book at $4,650pp before the early bird window closes (October 31st, 2026), rather than the standard $5,050pp.
A $300 deposit is all it takes to lock in your place - full balance isn't due until 31st August 2027.
Your deposit is protected. If the trip doesn't reach minimum numbers, you're fully refunded within 7 days of 31st August 2027 - there's no risk in securing your spot now.
This is a once-a-year departure. With a 25 October 2027 start, this is the only date this itinerary is running - there's no "next month" to wait for.
Solo travellers welcome. We'll match you with a roommate of a similar age and travel style at no extra cost, so there's no reason to wait for a travel buddy to commit first.

Set off early for the dawn climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress - a 200-metre fifth-century citadel, climbed before the heat builds, with sweeping views from the summit. In the afternoon, the pace turns local and gentle with the Hiriwaduna Village Experience: a catamaran ride, a bullock cart through the village and a home-cooked Sri Lankan lunch with a local family.

Journey south into the hill country, pausing en route at a traditional batik workshop to watch artisans hand-dye fabric using wax-resist techniques developed over generations. In Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka, attend the ceremonial Puja at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, followed by a Kandyan cultural dance performance with a dramatic fire-walking finale.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Walk Stage 1 of the Pekoe Trail, a guided trek through the tea estates, eucalyptus groves and pine plantations that made Ceylon tea famous. Return to Kandy by afternoon for leisure time around the lake and local markets.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Climb higher into the central highlands, stopping at the spectacular three-tiered Ramboda Falls and a working tea factory for a guided tour and tasting. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya - known as 'Little England' for its colonial charm - for an evening stroll around Lake Gregory and the old town centre.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Set off before dawn for the hike to World's End in Horton Plains National Park - a 9-kilometre loop trail across open grassland and cloud forest to a sheer 900-metre escarpment, plus Baker's Falls. After a well-earned breakfast and rest, spend the late afternoon hands-on with a tea-plucking experience, following your own harvest through rolling, fermenting and drying - then tasting the batch you helped make.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Transfer to Nanu Oya station and board one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world, rocking gently through emerald tea plantations, waterfalls and colonial viaducts to Ella. From there, continue by road to Yala on the island's wild southern edge, ready for tomorrow's safari.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Rise early for a morning jeep safari through Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's most famous reserve - home to a large elephant population, water buffalo, crocodiles and renowned leopard sightings. Spend the afternoon unwinding by the pool after the early start.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Drive along the southern coastline to the laid-back beach town of Mirissa, passing fishing harbours and coconut groves along the way. Check in and slip into beach mode for the days ahead.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
A full day at leisure on the coast - swim, walk the beach at low tide, or settle under a palm tree with a king coconut. A day purely for rest before the final stretch of the trip.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
A day excursion to Galle Fort, a 17th-century Dutch colonial stronghold and UNESCO World Heritage Site - wander cobblestone lanes, walk the ocean ramparts and browse boutiques and cafés tucked inside the old walls. Return to Mirissa for one more evening by the sea.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Drive north to Colombo, Sri Lanka's vibrant capital, for an afternoon tuk-tuk city tour through the Pettah markets, the colonial-era Fort district, and Galle Face Green, with street-food stops along the way. Tonight, the group comes together for a Farewell Dinner.

I'm Erin Parker - founder of Travel Her Way, Lapland Lowdown & Travel From Australia, group trip host and someone who believes the best version of yourself is usually found somewhere outdoors, enjoying an adventure which may include being above 3,000 metres or well below sub-zero temperatures.
I've led trips to Finnish Lapland, women's weekenders and have more exciting trips planned for the future. Every trip has confirmed what I already knew: the right trip, with the right people, changes something in you permanently.
I'm also a mum, which means I understand exactly what it takes to actually commit to something like this - and why it matters so much when you do.
I work closely with businesses on the ground in destinations we travel within. Our guides are vetted, the pacing is intentional and nothing makes it onto the itinerary unless I believe it will genuinely move you. My job is to make sure that when you step off that plane or walk in the door, all you have to do is show up.
