About this trip

Experience private luxury in the paradise isle of Sri Lanka in all-inclusive 9 day tour hosted by Ananda Wellness Australia and Yoga in Daily Life Melbourne. 

Take your time to unwind in a beautiful 6 acre private estate complete with ayurvedic massages, herbal flower baths, singing bowl therapy, specially curated vegetarian menus by the in-house chefs and star class start with! Or read a book in the gardens, have a dip in the pool or continue to meditate in nature. You can immerse yourself in a space designed to nurture both body and mind.

Looking to see the sights as well? Spend the day on a guided excursion with a leisurely boat trip along the 'Madu' River, visit local farmers markets to sample and purchase produce followed by a cooking class, and take a trip to the city of Galle to explore an ancient fortress and the buzzing shops, cafes and culture within!

You will also enjoy daily yoga, guided pranayama (breathing), meditations or satsangs at sunrise and sunset. With continuous practice over a few days you will start to notice a shift in your energy, your state of mind and a deep sense of peace, clarity and calm.

Sample Day
Sri Lanka Yoga & Wellness Retreat

6.30am: guided yoga, pranayama & meditation class

8.15am: breakfast

10am - afternoon: Massages or set off on planned excursions (boat tour along the river, market excursion, visiting Galle Fort) and vegetarian lunch!

Free time

4:30pm onwards: herbal flower baths or singing bowl therapy or gentle yoga class and yoga nidra (guided relaxation)

6.30pm dinner 

Evening program and meditation 

All levels of yoga experience are welcome. Families are welcome too. You are invited to take the retreat at your own pace doing as much or little as you need to find your own balance and wellbeing.
