This diving experience was great! The guides were professional, safety-focused, and made everyone feel comfortable. Seeing sharks at the dive sites was a highlight! Everything was well organized from start to finish. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend anyone planning to dive Costa Rica to stay with Chris Diving Center for a first class experience. Chris and his son Nealan were excellent instructors for my daughter and she really enjoyed getting her Open Water certification with them. Chris lives next door to the beautiful condos he rented to us during our stay…both have infinity pools out front which were maintained every morning along with the surrounding landscape over looking the ocean at Playa Potrero (a beautiful spot to stay). The pool in front of Chris’s house has an observation window at the bottom through which my wife watched Nealan teach my daughter OW skills. Chris designed that window and welded all the furniture including the bed frames in the condos to make things just the way he wanted. I tell you this to let you know Chris, his son and crew are detailed hardworking individuals and provided our whole family an awesome experience. Chris and crew setup everything for us before our dives (tanks,regs, bcd, weights)…we literally had to do nothing and between dives Chris gave us so much good food I couldn’t eat anymore….this happened all week long and I have never before experienced this. Chris and Nealan are also technical cave divers and taught me a lot while we dove with them (need to buy a Tecline regulator set next time I visit which Chris and Nealan are certified to service). The dive locations themselves (Catalinas Island, Brumel Island and Guacamaya Island) were a short boat ride and full of schools of fish with the sightings of Manta and Eagle rays a regular occurrence. Finally I want to say how nice people Chris, Nadia and Nealan are. We talked for many hours with them at their house after the days of diving and it was a pleasure to meet them. Me and my wife were just talking about visiting again this spring we liked it so much. A big thank you to Chris, Family and crew….All the best to you…Pura Vida!!!! Dave Brooks

This was the absolute best dive a beginner diver could have had. I have dove in Hawaii and Florida, but these waters were deeper. Chris made everything from start to finish so easy. He was able to pick me up from my hotel, as we did not rent a car, provide all the gear, which was in excellent condition, and provide peace of mind, support/guidance and an overall excellent experience. We saw lots of sharks, eels, rays, snakes, colorful fish, turtles, even a humpback whale! I highly recommend Chris and his dive shop to any/all divers, new to diving or experienced!

We very much enjoyed the dives with Chris and his team. Our kids were diving for the first time, and they did a good job teaching them the basics. Very pleasant, personal experience. Can highly recommend, also to first timers.

Had four very memorable dives with Chris and his excellent team. We saw plenty of life in the Catalinas including some time with a Manta which was the highlight. There are many other rays and white tips and large shoals of Jacks and other fish. I've dived all over the world and would 100% recommend ChrisDiving for experienced and new divers. My partner took the Advanced course and was in very good hands. Chris has spent 8 years in the area and knows the sites very well. The boat is a fast RIB and everything went smoothly from meeting on the beach to the drop off. Thoroughly recommended!
