Diving is diverse with several unique habitats including walls, historical wrecks, patch reefs, macro dive sites, lava flows, boulder slides, and rock outcroppings. ... With so many habitats, there is plenty for divers to discover!St. Eustatius, also known locally at Statia, is an island in the Caribbean. Waters around St. Eustatius are some of the most pristine in the Caribbean. Diving is diverse with several unique habitats including walls, historical wrecks, patch reefs, macro dive sites, lava flows, boulder slides, and rock outcroppings. Among scuba divers, Statia's diving is regarded as some of the best in the Caribbean. Protected as the Statia Marine Park since 1996, the waters are inhabited by a host of underwater creatures from sea horses to giant octopuses, stingrays, barracudas, coral, lobster and tropical fish.There are several underwater archaeological sites - most of these are ancient ships covered in coral. However, there is one other type of site called the ‘Blue Bead Hole.’ The blue beads hold historical importance in St. Eustatius. They were used as a reward for slaves in the 17th century.

Harrisburg's West Shore Scuba

Harrisburg west shore scuba was excellent to deal with. It was a great trip and all the details were covered. Will definitely dive with them again. Highly recommended!

Curacao 2025 SOLD OUT

Great trip but too hot 90 degrees every day. Had a hard time coping with those temperatures.  Food was very good even in buffet. Will go on trips with West Shore Scuba again. 

This was my first dive trip and I was a bit nervous because I only knew 1 person that was going. The West Shore Scuba crew and regulars were truly AMAZING! They invited me into their circle and made me feel like I had always been diving with them. Each of them took time with me to share their experiences on other dives/trips, pointers and gear suggestions to make my diving that much better. The entire trip was flawless and well planned out, to include a night out on the town with our own local guide. I enjoyed myself so much that I have already booked my spot to go diving with them again in Bonaire in January 2026!
