Excursion to fire temple “Ateshgakh”.
The territory of the temple is known to the world due to its unique natural phenomenon - the burning of natural gas (gas, breaking onto the surface, lights up after contacting oxygen). The temple in its present shape was built in the 17th – 18th centuries, but the history of the place goes deep into the centuries - roughly from the beginning of our era the territory hosted the sanctuary of Zoroastrians.
Excursion to burning mountain “Yanardag”.
One of the most famous and popular tourist places of the "eternal flame” in Azerbaijan is the mountain of “Yanardag”. Actually, it is rather a hill than a mountain, with natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times.
Excursion to Qobustan
Located 60 kilometers from Baku is the open- air museum - The State Historical-Artistic Reserve “Qobustan”. There, on the site of ancient primitive people, you’ll see a lot of rock art pieces - petroglyphs. These rock paintings reflect the culture, economy, philosophy, customs and traditions of ancient people.
Transfer from “Qobustan” to “Mud Volcanoes”.
