Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll make our way to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library to stroll through the library and grounds while enjoying the many wonderful exhibits on Reagan’s life and his time in the White House. As we stand in front of a piece of the Berlin Wall, we will learn about the advent of freedom and democracy in Eastern Europe and Reagan’s role in bringing down the Iron Curtain. We will peer into a full-scale replica of Reagan’s Oval Office with its earthy tones, western art, and a jar of the president’s favorite jelly bellies and step aboard the same Air Force One that flew President Reagan over 660,000 miles to twenty-six countries and forty-six states. Lunch will be enjoyed before we return to the hotel to ring in the new year with elegant dining, dancing, and a fun casino night. With hats and party favors, prizes, and a champagne toast, it will be a very special way to say hello to 2024!

After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to Pasadena and our reserved premium grandstand seats for the Rose Parade. It’s a celebration more than a century old – a festival of flowers, music, and sports unequaled anywhere else in the world. We’ll watch the parade make its way down Colorado Boulevard, enjoy the marching bands and equestrian units, and gaze in awe at floats covered in more flowers than the average florist will use in five years. You’ll also receive a souvenir program! After the parade, we’ll return to the hotel for a special Southern California Backyard BBQ. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure to relax or explore the surrounding area. In the evening, we will come back together for a fun movie night featuring a Hollywood favorite. The ballroom will be transformed into a cinema with popcorn, hot dogs, chili, candy, and more available for purchase (a $10 credit is included).

We begin our day with a hearty breakfast before traveling back to Pasadena to see the parade floats on display at the spectacular FloatFest. Walk within feet of the floral and animated masterpieces and take a closer look at the design and workmanship that goes into each float entry. Each float is built by one of four Tournament of Roses-approved float builders, costs $275,000 on average, and takes several months to build! A fantastic lunch will be enjoyed as a group before an afternoon at leisure to explore on your own. Tonight we will gather for a delightful farewell dinner overlooking Newport Harbor to cap off our Rose Parade festivities.
