Arrival in Anacortes
Meet in the evening in Anacortes, WA. We will have a meet and greet and packing party together. Guides will help you get prepared to be on the water and make sure you have everything you need.

Participants will be on their own for lodging and meals today. This allows for flexibility for each person's travel plans.

Depart Lopez Island and Settle onto Succia Island
Take a morning ferry over to Orcas Island. You will be able to leave your vehicles in Anacortes and ride with your guides on to the ferry. Arriving on Orcas we will drive to our starting location and begin Paddling 101. After our boats are loaded up and we are ready, we will paddle about an hour and a half to Succia Island.

Upon arrival, we will make our home for the next few days.

Each day we will have the opportunity to paddle and explore as well as do yoga, mindful meditations, gratitude ceremonies, and more.

Paddle to Orcas, Ferry to Anacortes
Today we pack up our camp and our belongings to put back into our boats. We will enjoy our last paddle across the open waters to Orcas where we will load back into a vehicle.

We will enjoy lunch together before we catch the ferry back to Anacortes to say our goodbyes.

Our teen joined Breakwater this summer and had a wonderful experience. Not only was he able to get away from technology in a beautiful setting but made friends and gained self-confidence. The guides were highly competent, fun and kind. His trip was highly rewarding. We hope to join future trips.
