This 5 day experience is designed to awaken your mind, body, and spirit along the Yellowstone River. Stretch into a downward dog while the bison roam in the distance. Fall asleep to the sound of the river and wake up to sun salutations outside your tent as you smell the coffee brewing!
You don't have to be a backpacker or a yogi to take part in this trip. We only ask that you have a desire to be in nature and welcome opportunities to explore, unwind, and take care of your bodies with other like-minded participants.
To experience Yellowstone without the hustle and bustle of the crowds, we strap on our backpacks and walk into the woods. We find quiet and stillness and the breathtaking beauty of the park right in front of us!
Hiking miles: Our itinerary will be low miles (3-6 each day).
Bathroom: Our campsites will not have bathrooms. If you are unfamiliar with digging cat-holes for going #2 outside, don't stress it. Again this is a beginner backpacking trip. We will teach you what you need to know!
Gear: If you don't have a backpack or camping gear, we have you covered. You will carry a backpack with your personal items as well as some group items and food. You will sleep in tents with a sleeping bag and pads. Upon registering for this trip, we will provide you with recommended packing lists so you can be prepared.
Yoga will be for all levels! We will incorporate mindfulness practices, breathing techniques, gratitude, and more. You will always have the opportunity to opt-in or out of a group activity.
We encourage everyone to consider all the different ways your body can benefit from movement and mindfulness.
We appreciate your willingness to leave all expectations at the door and give into the flow of our adventure!
UPDATE: We are currently re-adjusting our accommodations due to Yellowstone's north entrance closure. Please contact us if you have specific questions.
