This trip is all about connecting our travelers to Italy’s authentic side! Visiting a
beautiful and famous location is memorable but our trip is different. We’ll connect you with local families, giving you the opportunity to really soak up the culture of this region. Full of food, wine, history, culture, and traditions, our Sorrento Lemon Farm Stay is your perfect chance to experience Italy in the most authentic way, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
We’ll meet in Napoli, the de facto capital of Southern Italy and the birthplace of pizza! We’ll explore this vibrant, historic, and decadent city together before heading to our beautiful base near Sorrento. We will spend an unforgettable week on an actual historic organic lemon farm!
Experience the essence of Southern Italy with a limoncello masterclass, a boat day to Capri, and a hike along the famous Path of the Gods. Let our expert local guide, Stefano, reveal Italy's hidden gems, ensuring an unforgettable journey filled with authentic experiences.
Let's go!
Walkability score: Easy **
Very little walking, up to 1-3 miles per day. Travelers should be able to climb some stairs without handrails; stand for extended periods of time; and walk during group activities. As these tours often include travel by motorcoach or private vehicle, travelers should be able to board transportation without assistance. Elevators are not always available at sights or all hotels.
**We do have a scheduled hike on the Path of the Gods. However there is an option for a rest day or exploring Sorrento on that day instead and a possibility to split the group. This will be decided on a case by case basic and tour leader reserves the right of discretion whether or not guest is suitable for this exclusion.
The hike will take approximately 3-3.5 hours.
Here is a description of the hike:

Tipping guidline:
In Italy there's no obligation for tipping and the same applies to the people working with our company. They are well paid and can make an honest living out of that. However, we do
appreciate and reward an outstanding level of service. So, in case drivers, guides, etc. are providing you with an outstanding service and creating the conditions for your holiday to be unforgettable, you may want to show them your appreciation. A general rule of thumb would be: Euro 20-25 for a half day, and Euro 20 to 50 for a full day private guide/driver.
Price:
As we are spending the majority of the time on an organic lemon farm, the accommodations are a bit different than a standard hotel. We have a few different options based on single and double occupancy and are listed in the "accommodations" section above. Please read the description thoroughly.

Euro
You can change some cash at your bank before departure; alternatively, we suggest to change your currency into Euro at currency exchange offices in the main cities (please note you

Your passport must be valid for 3 months AFTER departure date from Italy (January 10, 2026). There is no visa requirement, you have 90 days to travel within the Schengen zone of Europe.

Dressing and weather:
Italy experiences four seasons: spring from March to May, summer from June to August, autumn from September to November, and winter from December to February. Fall in Southern Italy offers delightful weather, with mild coastal temperatures ranging from 19-25°C (68-77°F). It's generally sunny and pleasant, but occasional light rain is possible. Consider carrying a light waterproof jacket or umbrella.
Opt for lightweight, breathable attire like cotton shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses, and t-shirts to stay comfortable in the warm weather. Choose comfortable walking shoes or sandals
suitable for exploring. Evenings can cool down, so pack a light sweater or jacket for layering. A scarf is versatile and useful. Be prepared for light rain with a foldable umbrella or a
waterproof jacket. We suggest carrying a day bag, a reusable water bottle, and a travel adapter for convenience. Check the weather forecast closer to your travel dates for
precise updates.
Travel Insurance:
Travel insurance is highly recommended for all travelers and it’s the responsibility of the customer to ensure that adequate coverage is purchased. Travel insurance must cover against
personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US $200,000 for each of the categories of cover. We strongly recommend it also covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, loss of luggage and personal
effects. If customers do not have travel insurance, they may be prevented from joining the trip.
We accept any travel insurance provider as long as we have a policy number, the company’s 24-hour emergency contact number and confirmation that you have the minimum
coverage specified above.
Luggage Capacity:
Luggage capacity for transfers allow for one piece of luggage per person. Should you have excess luggage, you must advise us in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made
to accommodate accordingly. We suggest you avoid carrying excessively bulky luggage to facilitate any of your travel by train and your trip in general. Additional charges may apply.
Visiting Churches:
Shorts and sleeveless t-shirts are strictly not allowed.
Electronic devices:
The electrical power in Italy is 220 volts, 50Hz. Most devices
can operate with different voltage power (ie cell phones,
tablets, laptops, etc). However, you will need an adaptor for the
plugs: we advise you to buy an international travel adaptor before
your departure.

We are working together with I for Italia, a local Italian tour company. Check them out!
I loved being on the Tour with I For Italia. Each day was the “Best Day Ever” and that was the truth. This well-organized tour along with Stefano’s kindness, attention to every detail, flexibility, and exceptional itinerary were superior to all others. The different forms of transportation used and the personable drivers were first class and always on time. Each day was full of beautiful scenery and a new adventure into the heart and soul of real people and their lives in Italy. I was especially drawn to the delicious culinary adventures we experienced, some planned and many not. Accommodations were charming and so unusual such as the lemon tree farm. You can’t do these things on a cruise ship! Grazie, Grazie, Stefano, for memories to last a lifetime!

LOVED the tour so much. All of you made my trip amazing, and one I hope to remember always.
