Spend 5 days and 4 nights in luxury making lifelong friends, growing stronger as a couple and making lasting memories. Couples Camp is not couples’ therapy. It’s about positivity, creating goals with your partner, and experiencing an unforgettable trip of adventure and growth.  

Couples Camp takes place at the boutique, luxury accommodations of Villa Santa Cruz.  This immersive, all-inclusive experience includes everything from gourmet meals and margaritas to massages on the beach. Simply arrive at the San Jose del Cabo airport on June 24th. We’ll meet you at the airport and take care of the rest.

Have you ever been to one of those all-inclusive vacation spots with the mass-produced food and watered down drinks? This isn’t that.

Couples Camp is designed for a maximum of 7 couples. Before you arrive, we gather comprehensive information about your likes and dislikes. We want to know your preferred food, beverages, activities and timetables. The experience is tailored to fit your preferences, while still giving you a break from your normal routine.

Beyond the standard camp experiences, like our nightly bonfires, beach massages, cooking class and mezcal tastings, we provide the ideal setting for couples to reconnect.

As well, Couples Camp is for positive people – those who strive to continually learn and improve. This gives us the unique opportunity to learn from each other. What’s working in your life? Where and when do we fly in to?

The airport you fly into is Los Cabos International Airport, the airport code is SJD. Plan on arriving on June 24th and departing on June 28th. If you want to arrive earlier and/or stay later, you have that option, though you would then be responsible for your own transportation to/from Todos Santos. 

Do I need a passport?

Yes, and be sure that your passport is not set to expire within 6 months of your travel dates. 

Does the resort have internet and cell phone reception?

Yes, the Villa has good internet and we’ve seen both Verizon and AT&T cell phones work fine there. Contact your carrier before travel to verify rates and/or travel plans for Mexico.

How do we get from the airport to the retreat?

Your driver will be waiting for you outside the airport terminal. Please retrieve your luggage and then clear customs. As you are ready to exit the terminal take the right hand door to the public transportation area (groups exit), please exit the terminal towards the parking lot and look for your driver carrying a sign with your name on it at umbrella #5. 

Is the price listed per couple or per person?
The price is per person. When booking, there is no need to make two separate reservations. Simply select 2 participants. You will then be prompted to fill in the information for both you and your partner. 

I’m nervous about Mexico, is this area safe?

Todos Santos is a small, artsy town on the Pacific coast, well away from the border and big cities of Mexico. We have family and friends who have lived in Todos Santos for over 20 years for a reason, they love it and consider it very safe and welcoming. Plus, you’ll be with us! So there is nothing to worry about.

Should I bring cash? What currency?

You may want cash for buying souvenirs or gifts, but you don’t necessarily need to exchange it. Many of the local vendors will negotiate prices in American dollars anyway. There are ATMs located in town if needed, be sure to tell your bank your travel dates so they don’t put a freeze on your card.

What should I bring?

Keep it simple. No special equipment or clothing required. Sandals, clothes for 5 days, swim suit, sun glasses, personal items. We will provide bug spray, towels, and sunscreen. All of the rooms at Villa Santa Cruz are stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. This is a great opportunity to pack light! 

Is this couples’ counseling?

Nope. It’s Couples Camp, which is about having fun, spending quality time together, and looking forward to the future you want to build together.

What if I have food allergies?

No problem, our chefs can accommodate any allergies or dietary needs. We will gather extensive information regarding your preferences before the retreat.

What if I don’t want to participate in a scheduled camp activity?

Prior to the event we will try to get to know more about you and you partner to see if there are certain activities you would prefer to do and not do. From there we build in activities that we feel will best deliver an awesome experience for you and the group. Don’t worry, we don’t do anything weird or extreme. There is built-in time downtown for you and your partner to relax and be together, and there will be fun group activities and experiences that we’ll encourage you to participate in, but it’s always up to you if you want to join.

What is your cancellation policy?

To reserve your spot you’ll need to put down a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due by April 24th (two months prior to the start of the retreat). If you cancel before April 24th, 50% of your deposit will be refunded and the remaining amount can be applied to one of our future retreats. If you cancel after April 24th, you will receive a 25% refund on your payment and 50% of your payment can be used as a credit on one of our future retreats. If you cancel after May 24th, you’ll receive a 50% credit to one of our future events.

We are not married, does that matter?

It does not matter if you are married. What does matter is that you are in an established relationship and committed to building a sweet life together.

Is the camp open to all couples?

Yes, we welcome all couples. However, keep in mind as stated above that this is not couples’ therapy. We will not being rehashing the past or analyzing perceived faults. We will be having unique experiences in an idyllic setting, appreciating our partners, and looking forward to our bright futures.
