I highly recommend Trek Ecuador. We used them to handle logistics (hotel, meals, travel, COVID testing) on either side of a trip to the Kapawi Ecolodge in the Amazon. The guide they provided also came to the ecolodge with us and helped with both interpretation and wildlife guide services. Everything was seamless and well communicated. COVID disrupted our original plans for a trip in April 2020. We contacted Trek Ecuador with little notice to help with our last-minute decision to reschedule in November 2021. Within a few days everything was taken care of. I was happy with all of the choices for lodging and dining. The guide they provided was fantastic. His genuine enthusiasm and his knowledge of Ecuadorian history and Amazon biology greatly enhanced our experience.

When I booked this trip I thought it was too pricey, but it was worth every dollar. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and his English was perfect. The stops we made were amazing. The trip to Otavalo Market included stops at the equator and at a musician's home and workshop and lunch at Simon Bolivar's hacienda. Shopping at the market was fun and prices were reasonable. Driving along the Pan American Highway revealed massive rose greenhouses and acres of flowers and produce as well as numerous volcanoes. I highly recommend this adventure.
