About this trip

Join me for my signature Telluride adventure retreat. This will be my 9th year returning to Telluride and you're invited! Hike to waterfalls, bike ride through the valley floor to a local brewery, enjoy yoga on top of a mountain, soak in the on site hot tub, enjoy free hot breakfast, and treat yourself to an afternoon Stand-Up Paddleboarding. You'll have the option to join the San Juan Outdoor School

for an epic adventure on the Via Ferrata for an additional fee. You'll have the best view of town as you hang 350 feet off the valley floor moving along a system of iron cables and rods. Or add in a paragliding experience to enjoy the town from a birds eye view with Tellyourideparagling.

I've been leading yoga retreats in Telluride since 2014 and they just keep getting better. Come solo or bring a friend, with shared lodging you'll never feel left out. There's plenty of downtime built in for rest and rejuvenation in-between our adventures. I know the best locals only secret hikes and have built great relationships with the local businesses to bring you great discounts. Our mountaintop yoga will complement all the hard work you do on the trail. This weekend is about building relationships, testing your physical and mental limits and enjoying all the beauty Telluride has to offer. If you've never been to this little mountain town you are in for a treat as it's like nothing else you've experienced.

All levels welcome although a basic fitness background is encouraged especially since this is a high elevation retreat. You can participate in as much or as little of the activities as you like.

This retreat sold out within 24 hours last year and I expect next year's to do the same. I cannot hold a spot without a deposit so don't delay and book today.

New for 2022! Exclusive Chef Experience

Kenneth Kinser is the executive chef at Devil's Kitchen in Grand Junction. He honed his skills at the nationally recognized Yard House restaurant where he moved up in ranks to become their Executive Chef. He then went on to become the Executive Chef at the immensely popular Needle Rock Brewing Co. in Delta and, upon moving to Grand Junction, beat out 40 other applicants to be hired as the Executive Chef at the Devil's Kitchen. He's extremely talented and I approached him about curating an appetizer and meal option for our last night in Telluride that would include a signature drink. He will coordinate a menu that will include appetizers, a salad, veggies, main course and a desert and signature drink. Dietary requests will be honored.

You will have the option of choosing, as the main entree, a Vegan, Vegetarian or Meat option. If you do not eat red meat or fish then I recommend choosing the Vegetarian option. We make each entree according to how many choose the option so multiple options will not be available. A menu will be sent out prior to the event and upon booking you can choose your entree choice. You can change your option up to two weeks out. If you decide to opt in closer to retreat time you can pay prior to the experience as well.

If for some reason this experience cancels you will be refunded and an alternative activity/dinner will be planned.

Here is an example of the menu in 2021.

Why I don't provide a schedule on here

A detailed schedule with activities as well as a packing list will be provided before the retreat. I do not publish my schedule for privacy concerns and because I base my schedule off the weather and activities my clients book for the retreat. I have also had issues with copywriting and other competitors stealing my retreat ideas so please note that a schedule will only be sent prior to the retreat to paid in full guests.

This trip was just what my soul needed! From the beauty of Telluride to the wonderful group of women, it was everything I could have asked for and MORE. I felt like a kid at a slumber party...we did all kinds of fun and interesting things all while having a blast with fun people. Yogi Magee certainly did an excellent job with everything- the ice breakers, hikes, yoga, chef experience, paddle boarding, and the optional activities were all amazing. Yogi Magee took care of the itinerary and photos. It was nice being able to take a break from planning everything! Due to COVID-19, the trip was postponed from June 2020 until June 2021. I'm thankful that I had that additional time to follow Yogi Magee on social media to better understand what to expect from the retreat. Her positive anecdotes and breathtaking photos certainly mentally prepared me even more. After giving her a firm NO (in all caps) to the Via Ferrata, I changed my mind after reading one of her inspirational posts. Even though I'm terrified of heights, I did it and have never been prouder of myself! Taking the time to digest her messages before my retreat was what I needed to challenge myself. I look forward to completing another Via Ferrata course next summer with Yogi Magee. The yoga practices from a couple different, gorgeous locations in Telluride were spectacular. Yogi Magee's yoga style was easy to follow and she read aloud passages during these practices. They seemed to speak to everyone so much so that most of us purchased the book. They made our yoga practices even better. This experience truly captured what my mind, body, and soul needed. I got so much more out of it than I ever could have imagined. Yogi Magee certainly knocks this trip out of the park with her expertise. Looking forward to joining her on future retreats.

Natalie’s retreat was probably one of the best things to ever happen to me. After a year of hardly traveling or only traveling with close family, this was exactly what my soul needed. 20 amazing women, so much positive energy, great vibes, everyone supporting and motivating each other. A lot of laughing, happy tears, spiritual and physical growth. Never a dull moment, hiking, yoga on mountaintops, hot tubbing , shopping in town, eating amazing food… yet if you needed some alone time, it was never an issue. I ended up being more social and engaged than I usually am because this group of women made it so easy to feel comfortable and at ease. I always thought I’m not much of a people person, turns out I just need the right kind of people! We were a group ranging from their late 20’s to mid-50’s, and the variety of ages made it so much more fun and interesting. If you’re seeking to get away for some much needed me- time, and want to discover new things about yourself AND the beautiful San Juans, then this trip is what you need. No need to be a skilled hiker or total yogi, she leads everything in a manner that all can keep up and feel included, without any pressure. Signed up for next year’s retreat as soon as I got home! See you there maybe ☺️

This was my second retreat in Telluride with Natalie and it was even better than the first one! It was disappointing when it was postponed from 2020 to 2021 last year but that delay made the retreat that much better. Last year we would have all been at different places - some scared, others frustrated, all wondering what the future looked like. This year, even though the past year looked different for each of us, it felt like we had arrived on the other side together. The amazing ladies in this group all showed up ready to be vulnerable and connect deeply with one another and Natalie facilitated that connection beautifully. One of the things that makes Natalie's retreats so amazing is that she provides so much. She has an agenda with everything from amazing yoga classes in the most beautiful places (with the most inspiring readings), to hikes, to the Via Ferrata and paddle boarding at a gorgeous mountain lake. She works with local businesses to plan adventures and equipment rentals. She encourages each person to move out of their comfort zone to connect more deeply and live more fully. But what makes her really special, is her ability to bring together a group of women and help them move past the typical surface interactions and build something deeper. She helps everyone become leaders and teachers and the biggest, loudest supporters of one another. Thanks to Natalie's gift, we showed up as strangers and left as friends.

I have gone on two retreats now with Natalie and plan on doing a third (and possibly 4th) next year. The experiences she puts together and the people that she attracts to these retreats are what make them exceptional. Her approach to yoga and adventure is all about self empowerment, you won't find any snobby yoga egos here. If you don't do yoga regularly, you will be fine. If you don't hike regularly, you will be fine. Natalie creates an environment where you feel comfortable, safe and empowered. If you are on the fence, just book it. You will walk away from it with so much more than any other vacation. You will come away from the retreat realizing things about yourself you never knew you were capable of. You will not be disappointed!
