We’ll surf world-class breaks, chase waterfalls, trek through vibrant jungle paths, and canoe down hidden rivers. Whether you're just starting out or leveling up your surf game, this trip is for you—surf lessons for beginners and guided sessions for intermediates are all included.

Most breaks are within walking distance or just a quick boat ride away. You'll get daily surf lessons or guiding, plus a free day to chill or free surf at your own pace. We’ll also drop in to yoga 3x during the week, and take off on some epic group adventures!

All you have to bring is your sense of adventure and love for the ocean.

GETTING THERE

You'll arrive in Medellin (MDE) on July 6. That evening we'll hang, rest, chill. After you book you'll be put in a whatsapp group where we can figure out where we want to go/stay. This is not a part of the trip so will be organized by the group :)

Morning of July 7 we will take a charter flight into the jungle where a boat will be waiting for us to take us to the lodge and where we will officially begin our surf adventure!

Because this is a remote part of Colombia, Charter Flights are limited! Be sure to check availability before registering for the trip!

You'll need to fly into Medellin International (MDE) on July 6. Then we will take a charter flight the next day to our destination on July 7.

-You'll search Medellin Domestic (EOH) to Nuqui (NQU) for RT dates of July 7-13

- There is usually only one flight per day. Try to arrive before noon. If there are no flights available check  clicair.co and/or google flights

Another option is flying into Bogota (BOG) then take a charter to Nuquí's Reyes Murillo Airport (NQU).  But the charter flights are longer.

EXAMPLE ITINERARY:

Atlanta - Medellin: Arrive in Medellin on Sunday, July 6. Rest, explore, spend the night in Medellin.

Medellin - Nuqui: 10:30a flight from Medellin to Nuqui. Arrive around 11:30a

A boat will then charter us to our lodge.

Flights from/to Bogota or Medellin – Nuquí.

Charter flights to and from Nuquí are usually very early and only once a day. 10 kg luggage and 5 kg hand luggage per person are allowed. Clicair and Satena airlines offer flights every week. Please check flights accordingly. www.clicair.co www.satena.com 

Charter flights are very reasonable - around $75-$100/one way

By Air:

• The flight from Medellín takes about 50 minutes, and the flight from Bogota takes about 2+hrs and usually has a layover. Best is to fly into Medellin. 
• Be aware that flights are not daily, so coordinate your travel with flight schedules. 

There is 1x Surf lessons or Surf Guiding per day. Sessions are 2hrs, boards and transfers included. There is one day off  of lessons/guiding to truly soak in the jungle adventures. Feel free to free surf or book another session if you'd like more guidance!

Intermediates: There is an epic break that takes longer to get to via boat and is a half day surf adventure. This is something we will definitly decide to go on together as a group. This is not included in the package but depending on the group size, should be very reasonably cost (ie - $50-60 per person)

Boards: 

- beginner foam boards provided

- intermediates or advanced - several boards ranging from 5.10 to 6.6 to use

About the surf spots:

4 spots within walking or swim distance. 1 more in Cabo Corrientes (the famous Pico de Loro Surf spot) 25 Min by boat. We can (and will!) book this once we're there. This is not included in the package but an easy add on.

There will be a waterfall tour, canoe adventure and jungle walk scheduled during the week... it will be non-stop surf, eat, yoga, jungle fun, sleep!

Vaccination: The lodge advises to get the yellow fever vaccine. This must be applied at least 10 days before the trip. 

Communication The cell phone and internet signal is weak. It's always recommend telling your family that you will be off grid so no one gets worried ;)
