Sandra Carson is a knowledgeable and insightful yoga teacher who has been teaching internationally for the last 18 years.

Her teaching style is rooted in alignment and the cultivation of body awareness through the sensory body. Sandra’s background is Vinyasa Flow, Anusara yoga, therapeutics and Tantra.

She became a Yoga Alliance certified teacher in the USA in 2001. She is also a Anusara® certified teacher and an Experienced Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT500). She teaches workshops and retreats in different countries, Yoga Teacher trainings and Advanced Yoga Teacher trainings.

Her unique yoga classes are a mix of flow and alignment and mostly dynamic and energizing in nature. They invite you to step up and curiously explore your abilities while respecting your boundary. Sandra encourages you to listen intimately and choose what serves you in every moment by offering modifications and variations throughout the practice.

Your heart is the symbol of your spiritual essence. It is the center of Consciousness; the love from your heart is healing, unconditional and limitless. When your heart is open, you feel connected to yourself, the world and Source energy. When you are surrendered into your Radiant Heart, you live in flow, your inner beauty shines and your presence is a gift to the world.

Embodiment is the practice to enter this luminous space within your self. When you enter your body more deeply through its foundation, your pelvis, it nourishes and supports the opening of your heart. Your pelvis enables the blossoming of your heart, just like the lotus flower can radiate its beauty because of the support of the stem and the deeply grounded roots in the soil.

Morning yoga practices will focus on activating and aligning the pelvis and core through asana and fluid movement, pranayama and meditation.

After a long, easy and yummy breakfast, we will go out on silent walks in nature and picnic outdoors, connecting to the life force that sustains us all. Every day, Sandra will give a talk and offer a contemplation assignment or a sharing exercise.

In the afternoons you will have free time to relax, maybe with a sauna or a massage. The evening practices will center around tension release and deep relaxation.

This retreat will enrich your yoga knowledge and your experience of surrender and empowerment in your body. You will take away with you a sense of peace and openness that will enable you to be more present in your own heart and connect to others more authentically.
