About this trip

The primary purpose of this trip is to teach embroidery to the ladies on the ground. Whoever wants to learn, but namely Kenia, our boss lady head seamstress. You may also opt to make your own fanny pack, under Kenia's guidance, learn to sew, embroidery, sing at the girls' home next-door, learn to cook Haitian food..

Secondly, we will build a house for a single mother and child in need of a home.

Third but not least in the least, we will make some sort of promotional video for the fanny packs, depending on the skills of those comprising the team :D (team being the first eight yum yums to sign up here).

We can also learn to surf, dance, experience a traditional Haitian voodoo ceremony in art-teach town Jacmel.

WE can do whatever we like.

WElcome to Allways.

Itinerary

Day 1
Welcome to Haiti

We will undoubtedly arrive exhausted and inspired by the poverty and our ability to create long-term changes for the people and the economy. We will take a trip through the city to see the market, where the majority of Allways Haiti product materials are sourced,  before heading up the bumpy dirt road to our beloved, rural Saint Rock. Here we will settle into our netted beds at the clinic (I do not recommend medicating for malaria unless you feel personally compelled to do so) and begin making the acquaintance of the community. We will have dinner at Gerald and Luna's on "the land," and get a better idea for how the building project will be conducted.

Today, we will discuss and plan for the Power Pack promo music video.
