About this trip

My home away from home Uganda, is the perfect place to explore the budding sustainable fashion scene in Africa. Necessity is the mother of invention and Uganda's fashion scene has grown from the mutumba(second-hand clothing) markets to the catwalk.  We'll visit local designers, the beautiful town of Jinja(Source of the Nile River), weavers, Lake Bunyonyi, Kampala, and much much more! Optional Safari available.

Day 1
Arrive, Welcome, Rest

We'll arrive in Entebbe where the trip will begin with dinner along the magnificent Lake Victoria, the second largest natural lake. We'll get to know one another, eat some yummy local food, and be in bed early-ish to get a fresh start in the morning.  Trip official start 7pm. Please try and find a flight that arrives in the morning or afternoon.
