About this trip

During this 3.5 day course you'll have a basic refresher on swiftwater rescue skills and then move onto boat operations with towing booms, boating boom placement, roped boom placement, advanced booming systems, riverine based HAZMAT considerations, riparian/litoral zone ingress & egress, and much more! This course is best offered at your agency/department's location, but can be run in any location.


Prerequisites for this course:

- FEMA IS 100 & 200

- CPR

- Swiftwater Rescue Awareness

- HAZMAT Awareness or equivalent

- STOP THE BLEED (virtual portion only. Or equivalent, EMTs or higher don't need this certification)

- MUST be 18 years of age or older
