Arrival Day & Meet the Herd
Arrival to Liberia Airport (LIR), meet for the group transfer to the beach hotel. There may be time to catch the sunset on a local beach filled with shells & layered rocks. Greet the horses and help them settle in after their journey too.

Playing with Horses
-Enjoy a home-cooked breakfast each day at the hotel as the horses munch on their grain across the way

-Saddle up for a ride on a stunning farm or to the local viewpoint or even up to the Nicaragua border, meandering through dry forest trails or splashing along the white sand beaches

-Take the tack off so the horses can roll and enjoy the sand, and invite them into the surf for a refreshing splash

-Jump on bareback and feel the sensation of a horse swimming or paddle along side them as they show off their skills

- Retreat to the shade for a delicious cooked lunch, as the horses take a nap in the sand

-Hang out with your horse in the hammock or take a wander along the beach to spot the birds or monkeys

- Saddle up to ride home along the beach, hose off your horse (if you want to) and go for a dip in the pool before dinner at the hotel, or hang out together for a moonlit BBQ on the beach

- Enjoy a deep, restorative sleep to the rainforest soundtrack of cicadas after all the fresh air, abundant nature, good food and food for the senses

After a hearty breakfast, say goodbye to the horses and help them load onto the truck, then journey back to Liberia airport (about an hour's drive) - or continue on to Tula Vida Ranch for more fun and games with horses!

Tula Vida is a magical place that stays with you. Waking up to sweeping views, sleeping deeply in a genuinely comfortable bed, eating authentic local food that feels deeply nourishing. I received nourishment on all levels...physical.mental.spiritual and emotional. Between the dogs and horses and the humans I felt loved! The food was amazing and the lodging was very comfortable. The land is amazing! So much to take in

I went to Tula Vida on a group retreat. I had a profound healing experience of feeling supported by the love and strength of the hearts of horses and whales from around the world. This has changed my orientation from feeling that I have to do things on my own and struggle to prove myself as worthy. I am now remembering that every choice I make is supported by wisdom and perspective so much greater than my own. I am grateful beyond measure, and plan to create opportunities for those I love and care for to have time with the herd of horses at TulaVida.
