This summer, we are letting our inner Heidi free! Grab a spot on our Ladies Summer Trip to Switzerland to spend the BEST week of the summer in the BEST place with the BEST women out there.

How do we know? Because the Open Invite summer trip has created a legacy of incredible weeks together. And after you see the 2026 itinerary, you’ll know this year won’t be any different!

This summer, we are delighted to welcome long-time Open Invite trip host and friend, Annie Fitzsimmons, to lead our summer ladies trip. Truly, there may not be a better person to guide us! She is a world-class expert on Switzerland, has visited over 40 times, and, for even more credit… she is married to a Swiss husband. We couldn’t ask for a better on-the-ground trip leader for our week together- nobody blends the fun and knowledge better!

1. The itinerary may change from what you see here, but the general feel will be VERY much the same. Sometimes with a group, we need to adjust things to make the itinerary work better. But you’ll just have to trust us that whatever we swap will be for the better!

2. In Switzerland, “twin beds” are often pushed together. It can feel a bit more of a shared bed experience, so please take that into consideration when you make your decision between selecting a shared or private room. (With that said, we LOVE our shared room pals, and amazing friendships seem to blossom in those awkward-but-bonding moments on our trips!)

3. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please grab your spot after checking your calendar well! We also recommend travel insurance to protect such a precious purchase. We often have guests use Arch Roam Right and they seem to enjoy it!

Today, plan to be in Zurich by 1pm for our departure together. We will meet in Zurich and head out to the Wengen Valley.

As there are no cars in this village, we will have to take the last leg by a short train ride.

Once we arrive, the amazing Belvedere Hotel team will help us get our bags to the hotel.

Spend the afternoon exploring the grounds and getting freshened up for dinner. Tonight, we have a welcome dinner at the hotel together!

If you’re up for it, stay for a drink after with new friends. If you’re tired, you’ve earned a great nights sleep and we won’t stop you from crashing into your Swiss bed!

Good morning! Enjoy your Swiss breakfast this morning at your own pace before we head out. This is a day without any need for cars- we’ll be doing it all on foot!

This morning, we’ll head into the nearby hills for the paths toward Mannelichen and Kleine Scheidegg. These gorgeous spots are easy enough to access for most people, so no need to train too heavily before the trip!

Lunch today will be out along the paths as a group- plan for a postcard pretty views as we eat.

During the afternoon, we’ll wander back to Wengen. You’ll be able to relax at the hotel’s terrace with a drink or wander out for dinner on your own this evening with new friends.

After breakfast, we’ll leave for Murren for stunning views and idyllic houses. Enjoy postcard views as you wander through this beloved town of the area.

For lunch, you’ll be on your own to find a bite somewhere in town. There are several cute spots nearby to find a table with a view.

This afternoon, head to the lake for some swimming in the crystal blue mountain waters. (Bring some warm clothes to pop on when you’re finished!) Have a moment warming back up in the mountain sun as you chat with the ladies.

For dinner this evening, we’ll head to nearby Interlaken for a dinner together in Interlaken before heading back to the resort together.

Today is your day to enjoy as you like! Wake up as early or late as you like.

Breakfast will be waiting for you whenever it is that you choose to wake up.

Perhaps today is your day for the spa? Perhaps you’ll head to nearby Bern. Maybe it’s a day to take on one the paths out from the hotel that makes you curious. However it is you want to spend the day, we bet there will be a few other friends that want to join in!

This evening, come for the Swiss Miss dinner party at the hotel restaurants. We will be wearing our best red and white summer dress to celebrate the Swiss flag!

This morning, we head out of the Wengen Valley and depart for Lucerne. We will travel by train and coach to reach the lakeside town of Lucerne.

Along the way, we will have a stop to stretch our legs and have lunch together.

When we arrive to Lucerne, we will check into the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Bags will be collected and brought to your room. You’re free to wander town and explore this evening- as dinner is on your own in Lucerne tonight.

Grab some friends and head out for a small dinner somewhere cute. (Need advice? We can give you a list of some of our favorite spots!)

Today, we’ll have breakfast in style at the fabulous Mandarin Oriental before heading out. Enjoy the morning with sweeping views of the lake from the pristine perch the hotel has in the town.

Later, we will head out towards Mt Rigi. We will reach the mountain by a vintage cogwheel train. Once we reach the top, you’ll have free time to do lunch on your own. Some will bring a picnic and others may wander to a little chalet for lunch. (We can offer ideas, if you need them!)

From there, we’ll enjoy a leisurely stroll along the mountain to get some stunning views of Lake Lucerne and the mountain. There are some fun villages and the way down the mountain is almost as good as the journey up!

Once we get back to Lucerne, it’s time to clean up and get pretty for the Farewell Dinner we’ll have this evening along the lake. In our own private room at the Mandarin Oriental, we’ll wear our best Swiss red and white dresses to round out an incredible week together.

This morning, we’ll wake up and get to enjoy one last breakfast together. One more lovely morning to enjoy the start of the day over a fabulous breakfast table- a highlight of any great trip!

Please note that check-out is at 11am, so please plan to either extend your stay or be ready to travel on at this point.
