Travelers seeking unique things to do in Belize at night
Your evening begins with a scenic drive north from Placencia Peninsula toward the Hopkins and Sittee River region.
Upon arrival, guests board a small boat and begin navigating through calm lagoon waters surrounded by mangroves and nighttime wildlife sounds.
As darkness settles, movement in the water begins to reveal glowing blue illumination beneath the surface. Fish dart through the lagoon leaving glowing trails, while the movement of the boat creates shimmering patterns in the water.
Depending on weather and lagoon conditions, guests may have opportunities to enter the water and experience the glow up close.
The experience is calm, peaceful, and deeply connected to Belize’s natural environment.
Some departures may include an optional stop for local dinner in Hopkins Village before returning to Placencia.
