TAKSU ART WEEK
FEBRUARY 2-8, 2026
Taksu. The moment when the artist surrenders to the essence of their craft, and God appears.
The Taksu Art Week is the precusor to the Taksu Artist Residency every February starting 2027, during the 1-54 Art Fair, Africa's largest art show in Marrakesh, Morocco. Taksu brings the African diaspora into the conversation of African art and expression, infusing African American flavor through an art exhibition, vibrant parties, and a soulful brunch. This celebration is enriched by offering artist time to retreat, rest and be still to recover their creative energy through traditional hammam, theraputic massages, Watsu pool therapy and grounding wisdom circles.
