Take a journey into Tantra Yoga. This 60-hour training is designed to help you further your own practice and understanding of Tantra as well as provide depth for your teaching. Lead by Tantra-Vinyasa yoga teacher, Nancy Goodfellow and guided by the ancient wisdom of Tantra. This course is guaranteed to bring your yoga practice to a higher and more connected place.

Upon completion eligible yoga teachers will receive a Tantra-Vinyasa yoga teaching certification. If you are not a yoga teacher, you can still take this course for personal interest and to deepen your practice.

This training is also one of the elective modules of our advanced 500hr yoga teaching certification. In taking this training you will gain 60hrs toward your 500hr certification registered with the international yoga alliance.

This course will touch on:

History Philosophy of Tantra Yoga
Tantric Meditation and Kriyas
Tantra and Hatha Yoga Pranayama (breath work)
Shiva and Shakti energy, how to cultivate them and infuse them into practice
How to sequence Tantra-Vinyasa yoga classes
Sacred sexuality
Theming and designing Tantra-Vinyasa Yoga classes

In taking this course yoga teachers will earn 60hrs of continuing education with Yoga Alliance AND it is one of the modules of Yoga Academy International's 300hr teacher training.

But this course isn't JUST for yoga teachers. Classes are infused with a myriad of elements, which come together to create a highly educational, physically challenging, and deeply soulful experience for ANY yogis who is craving more.

SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE:

7 - 8:30am morning yoga flow practice

8:30 - 9am meditation
9am -10am breakfast break
10am - 1pm Tantra-Vinyasa Training
1pm-4pm lunch break
4-5:30pm mindfulness workshops
6:30pm dinner
Some evenings may have activities like ecstatic dance, nights, workshops or bonfire.

It was a magical and transformative experience! I am so happy that I did my Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica with Yoga Academy International. Lauren and her team were amazing teachers. ✨The integration of so many aspects of yoga into this three week intensive was so valuable. I learned more than I ever imagined. What I like about YTT, the training was life-changing for me, the program from day 1 to day 26 was terrific, day by day, we have been growing developing new habits, confidence, physically, mentally, and spiritually, our morning flows were focused on different types of yoga , an exciting approach for yoga theory, practicing teaching with fun, night philosophy, anatomy, evening songs with all together, sunrise and sunsets. It was an unbelievable month living in jungles with lovely people worldwide. The teachers are so professional. They provide a huge amount of knowledge and personal experience, helping everyone to develop our career and become the most skilled yoga teachers

It’s taken me this long to come here to write this simply because I cannot find the words to describe how much this teacher training meant to me. I still don’t have the words. All I have for now is… I will do this a million more times and it was worth every penny!! So grateful.
