Today's itinerary begins with a drive to the central region of Ghana, with our first stop at Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River, once a bustling hub and market of the trans-Atlantic slave trade, giving insights into the Last Bath ritual for enslaved individuals. Continuing our journey, we'll also explore the historic Elmina Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its colonial history and pivotal role in the transatlantic slave trade. Following a relaxing morning, our journey back to Accra includes a stop at Kakum National Park and its renowned Canopy Walkway which can be found within the Assin Attandanso Reserve.
