About this trip

Come with us on a journey that changes lives—both theirs and yours.

Our adventure begins in Tanzania, where you’ll step into communities led by powerful women overcoming incredible challenges. You’ll be part of meaningful projects focused on women’s health and empowerment, and you’ll help bring hope and resources to children with disabilities—making a tangible impact from the moment you arrive.

From there, we travel into the heart of Kenya’s majestic landscapes.

At Lake Naivasha, you’ll glide across shimmering waters beside hippos and watch rare birds take flight in the golden light of dawn.

In Lake Nakuru National Park, prepare to be surrounded by breathtaking beauty—home to endangered rhinos, roaming Rothschild giraffes, and sweeping acacia forests that feel like scenes from a dream.

Finally, the iconic Maasai Mara welcomes you with endless savannahs and thrilling safari drives where lions stalk at sunset, elephants wander in family herds, and every moment reconnects you to the wild, untamed spirit of Africa.

This is not just travel—it’s transformation. This is adventure with purpose.

GIVE Back and Time with Local Projects

Our time in Tanzania will be a journey of deep heart connection and meaningful impact. Through this trip, you are directly sponsoring life-changing projects that support women, children, and families in need. We’ll visit sewing initiatives where young girls are being trained to create reusable period pads—giving them not only dignity, but a path to education and financial independence. We’ll personally deliver wheelchairs to children with cerebral palsy, witnessing the priceless moment when mobility becomes possibility. At a local secondary school, we’ll provide dignity kits and offer encouragement to young girls during an empowering presentation on menstrual health. We’ll also spend time at a safe home for children with multiple disabilities—bringing joy, care, and human connection to those who need it most.

Every woman on this journey plays a direct role in funding these initiatives. Your participation isn’t just travel—it is active contribution, heartfelt service, and a powerful reminder that together, we can transform lives.

Safari Adventure in Kenya

Our remaining days will be filled with the magic of Kenya!
From the moment we land, we’ll head straight to Lake Naivasha for a scenic boat safari, gliding past hippos and vibrant birdlife. We’ll then spend one night in Lake Nakuru, enjoying game drives and relaxing at our stunning lodge. From there, we’ll journey to the iconic Maasai Mara for three unforgettable days of safari adventure, with multiple game drives each day to witness Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife up close. For those seeking a once-in-a-lifetime perspective, you’ll have the option to soar above the savannah at sunrise on a hot air balloon safari. Our journey concludes in Nairobi, where we’ll say farewell and head home—hearts full and forever changed.

About your organizer

Traveling and helping others have always been two of my greatest passions—but She Dares to Wander is my purpose.

It’s deeply important to me that every trip creates a positive impact in the communities we visit. I’m an active board member of Lotus Humanitarian, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and I’m personally connected to the projects we support through our travels. These aren’t simply organizations or projects I’ve found along the way—they are causes I care deeply about and continue to support long after our trips are over.

Every She Dares to Wander journey includes a project specific to the destination we visit. A portion of every traveler’s trip directly supports that effort, allowing you to experience a destination while also becoming part of something bigger.

When you travel with She Dares to Wander, you’re not just seeing the world.

You’re helping make it a little better.
