Leave Arusha at 08:30 in a 4x4 and drive to Tarangire National Park, a unique and absolutely amazing place at this time of the year. See some of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania and enjoy the varied scenery, including the spectacular baobab trees that are so characteristic of the park.

Breakfast and today explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater on a scenic safari (packed lunch included) to Ngorongoro Crater, often cited as one of the wonders of the world. It is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and a natural refuge for some of the densest animal populations in Africa.It is one of the few places to see the rare black rhino in its natural habitat. With very few animals entering and exiting the crater's 2000 foot walls, you can expect to see lion, elephant, zebra, hippo, flamingos, jackal, rhino, antelope, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the “Big Five” can only be seen on safari.
