Former ballet dancer Madeleine and violinist Stephen first met while working at Sadler’s Wells Theatre. In 2004, they moved to France and established www.giteholidaysinfrance. After spending ten years away, they returned just over a year ago to revive the gîte business, this time with the vision of creating a vibrant, creative and cultural hub. Passionate about art, music, and literature, they pair their love of culture with homegrown produce and home-cooked meals, ensuring that every stay at La Faye is warm, inspiring, and enriching.
