Enjoy an immersive cultural experience with the locals. Calabria, one of the lesser known southern regions, awaits our presence. We'll embark off the beaten path into Calabria's rugged mountains. turquoise seas and experience ancient traditions. Unlike the bustling north, Calabria’s charm lies in its untouched beauty from pristine beaches, cliffside villages with a warm welcoming culture. We'll savor handmade pastas, local wines and cuisine and olive oil from ancient groves. Together, we'll explore a region waiting to be discovered.  We thrive to exceed your expectations!

On arrival day, you will be greeted at arranged location and taken to your resting place for the next 2 nights. Day one starts after all our guests are rested and feel refreshed.  Our first morning will begin with a traditional "Italian Breakfast".  The adventure will commence in Pizzo visiting two historical landmarks, walks through the city center and then break for lunch with a sea view.  The afternoon will be free for all to explore, relax and then meet for evening appetizers and meal.

Today we'll go to the source.  See first hand how family's are self sustaining, hand crafted cured meats, cheeses, wines and olive oils. We'll spend most of the day learning and sampling hand made creations. Midday meal will be enjoyed outdoors followed by our transfer into town. Evening to be decided as a group.

After checking out of our accommodations, we'll be on our way to the "Pearl of the Tyrrhenian" , Tropea. This picturesque village is the home of the "cipolle rosse".  We'll spent two amazing days exploring natural cave formations, snorkeling, paddle boarding and a tour at sea!  Put on your walking shoes and pack a bag for the beach. This day we'll visit the city center and traverse down to sea level.  

After breakfast, our 2nd day in Tropea will be spent at sea with a boat tour. We'll see the cliffside town from a different perspective.  Maybe we'll settle at a secluded beach, have a packed lunch and soak in the elements. Evening will be spent on the premises and dinner at adjoined restaurant.  

After checking out, we'll head over to the quaint seaside village of Scilla. We'll stroll around and walk our way to  the fishing village of Chianalea. A late seafood lunch is on the menu. In the late afternoon we'll find our way back to Lamezia Terme where we'll spend the next 3 nights. After a refresh, the rest of the evening will be free with the opportunity to personalize with transfer to anywhere within a 10 kilometer radios.  

Todays day trip will be taken by train, much faster than a vehicle. Plan for a pastry course of a popular regional delicacy.  Once our sweet tooth is satisfied, we'll head to the sea for a leisurely hike and some water sports. Many surprise caves and grottos ahead, get ready to relax and enjoy. Picnic lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Maybe stay for a sunset aperitivo, the moment will decide.

On our final day together we'll visit historic staples of the south, a silk museum where we'll learn the process of this elegant textile. After lunch we'll head to a grain mill, from which is the backbone of pastas and artisan bread. On this evening we'll spend a festive dinner, enjoy the moment and reflect on our time together.
