Tbilisi means “warm” in Georgian. There’s a Georgian proverb saying that a guest is from God. We try to embrace this proverb as much as we can. In this tour you’ll discover Georgia's cosmopolitan capital city on foot. Narrow streets, colorful staircases and charming houses, wooden ornamental balconies that make you want to take photos on every corner - this is Tbilisi's Old City. Here, we'll take a tour of Abanotubani – the baths district. Beneath Tbilisi lies a wealth of hot springs which feed these traditional brick-domed bathing houses. Next, we'll take an aerial cable car up to Narikala fort which dominates the skyline of the Old Town and affords sweeping city views. From here, we'll walk along famous Charden street, the center of Tbilisi’s cultural and social life, with many cafes, bars and caravanserais. We'll also visit the newly reconstructed Orbeliani square with the Presidential Palace and famous Dry Bridge flea market. This open air market will keep you entertained for hours as it contains the works of local artists, souvenirs, antiques and odds and ends. The tour will finish at the market, where you can continue shopping or keep exploring the city.
